Title: The internet is a series of tubes Post by: Sheriff Fatman on January 21, 2007, 02:40:42 AM I have no idea if this has been posted yet - I did a search and nothing came up.
A friend of mine pointed it out to me today, and it is hilarious. Its also quite possibly the best summary of the 'logic' of the UIGEA I've seen. Watch it through to the end and the relevance of it becomes clear. I think its great. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1lYiDo0DjSk&mode=related&search= Sheriff Title: Re: The internet is a series of tubes Post by: Royal Flush on January 21, 2007, 03:16:15 AM The man is a legend.

Title: Re: The internet is a series of tubes Post by: I, Zimbra on January 21, 2007, 09:36:28 PM I confess I saw the Daily Show on More4 and didn't think too much of it, so never watched after that. Perhaps I caught him on an off-day or summat, I guess I'll have to give it another looksee.
Love Letterman, on a related theme if you're a fan of the US-satire type political stuff you should catch Real Time with Bill Maher when he resurfaces in February. Bill Maher was the host of Politically Incorrect, the panel-debate show that was canned by network TV after Maher made some comments re: 9/11 that didn't sit well with the current administration; he was snapped up by HBO, who've given him his own show to do pretty much whatever he wants. |
