Awwwwwwwwww guys thank you   -   I'm still a little in shock! (This isn't a joke btw!)

No date set yet.

All I can tell you is that I was offered Antigua or Scarborough for the venue.  I demanded Gibraltar!  lol  I'm thinking small personal ceremony in Gib - massive absolute piss up in UK.

His name is Stu and I love him to bits.  He is the nicest, kindest, sexiest, most considerate man I have EVER met.

To say he has swept me off my feet is an understatement - this is like a fairytale, the stuff little girls dreams are made of!

I'm sure he will come on here and make himself known at some point - his works server is blocked by blonde - but he will be here at some point soon via his own internet connection.

Once again, thanks to all of you for your kinds words.

The cynics can of course  GF themselves.  lol

In life in general there are always people who are bitter, twisted, envious, for whatever reasons!!!!! and will do their best to undermine the happiness, success of GENUINE people.

I wish you and your fiance all the very best for the future

EXACTLY!!!!!!!

This is what ive been trying to say for months!!

It's ok to slag people off, it makes them feel bad and makes you feel less bad about yourself, "GENUINE" people are a great target as well!!! nice one :)up

glad ive found someone that thinks the same as me, if you pm me i'll tell you where theres a great job centre for hurling abuse at the unemployable, they're so miserable they dont even argue back!!!!!!!!!!! blinding!!!!!!!

Thanks for your support Claire, Taxi and Bolt (and everyone else that has wished us happiness)  - it is greatly appreciated.

Those that have been nasty/doubtful about all of this know who they are.  I do find it funny how they prefer to take the p*ss in the Tribeca lobby rather than have fellow blondites know just what sort of nasty little toads they really are.  Please don't for one minute think that "the nasties" are all blondites, they're not, some are people I actually thought were my friends, and some I wouldn't pee on if they were on fire, I'd rather fan the flames.

Oh and Bolt -  ROTFLMFAO   Nice One!!    ;yippee;

No problem Trace.

Life is short, we never know what's around the corner.  Opportunities for happiness should be grabbed with open arms.  You're living life for the present and doing what makes you feel good and feels right - good for you I say.

Have you sorted out a date yet Trace ??? where are you getting married ??? cant wait to hear all the details   :)

Errrrrrrm we kinda forgot about setting a date at weekend Char.  Still getting married in Gibraltar, not at The Dell now though, 'cos they have too many stupid rules to do it there, so Registry Office will do fine.

As I think I've said here, or on the other forum, I was offered Antigua and said No.  I refuse to start married life in debt caused by just one day.  I even contemplated Gretna Green, but that is bloody expensive too.

As the rules in Gib are so relaxed, we may just even do it when were over there on holiday, just with the boys and a couple of witnesses and sod all the fuss.

Stu flies back in again on the 4th April, so hopefully we may actually set a date then - unless of course we "forget" again.  lol

I promise that once I have anything to report I will, but if general consensus on here is that no-one is really interested then I will post it all on the other forum.  This isn't me being a martyr to the cause, this is me being concerned that blondites just don't wanna know, and so if that is the case, I will quite happily and without fuss post elsewhere.

xx

Finally we've set a date:

Friday 27th July 2007    Small, discreet Registry Office ceremony, close friends and family only, no fuss or bother.

Saturday 28th July 2007     Marriage Blessing at my local Parish Church - again close friends and family only, but full monty on white dress and suits and flowers and bridesmaids and Oh my God my head is hurting already.  lol

Satuday 28th July 2007      Evening Do - Hoping to find large-ish room with tables and cheap booze - that will turn a blind eye to poker chips and cards flying around.  We are drawing up a list at the moment, as soon as we finalise it invites will be sent out either via email or post if I have your address.  This is going to be a double celebration - Stu turns 40 on the 31st July, so we can celebrate in a double whammy style.

Some of you will be asking what happened to Gib? ? ?   Don't ask!  Long story!

UPDATE:

(For those that are interested)

Not been able to say anything sooner, as we had to wait until it was announced at VC.

Stu has handed his notice in and returns to the UK permanently on 4th April.

I'm absolutely over the moon -  no idea how he is gonna cope with the UK weather, but sure
I'll find someway to keep him warm.   ;) ;bumwiggle;

what happened to Gib?

Title: Re: Isn't life a weird and wonderful thing?
Post by: Trace on March 17, 2007, 09:09:09 PM
what happened to Gib?

I can answer that now, at the time of saying  "It's a long story don't ask!"  Stu had handed his notice in, but it hadn't been announced to staff at VC, so I couldn't say anything until everyone had been informed.

It's not in Gib 'cos he's coming home.  Seemed daft him coming home and then the four of us trailing back out there again for us to get married.

Least this way it lasts allllllllllllllllll weekend long and we can celebrate his 40th at same time!!
