Title: premiership title race Post by: fergus8 on January 24, 2007, 09:18:37 AM odds on betdaq.....
man u - 1.52 chelski - 3.3 arsenal - 37 liverpool - 40 just wondering if any1 thinks there is any good bets here. i really think arsenal are playing some amazing stuff right now, and at 36 to 1 seems tempting if a little optimistic chelski are playing mince and not as a team, maybe if they drifted to 5 without losing ground id consider it man u, i think they will drop 12-15 pts for the rest of the season, which means they will win unless arsenal win all there games and chelski get back to last seasons form Title: Re: premiership title race Post by: boldie on January 24, 2007, 12:43:21 PM odds on betdaq..... man u - 1.52 chelski - 3.3 arsenal - 37 liverpool - 40 just wondering if any1 thinks there is any good bets here. i really think arsenal are playing some amazing stuff right now, and at 36 to 1 seems tempting if a little optimistic chelski are playing mince and not as a team, maybe if they drifted to 5 without losing ground id consider it man u, i think they will drop 12-15 pts for the rest of the season, which means they will win unless arsenal win all there games and chelski get back to last seasons form I had a bet on ManU at Christmas when they were still 6-4. There's no value to be had now unless you don't mind pissing away your money Title: Re: premiership title race Post by: Graham C on January 24, 2007, 12:51:07 PM Trouble is Man U rarely slip up, especially against the mid/low table teams.
Title: Re: premiership title race Post by: Nem on January 24, 2007, 12:57:54 PM Arsenal beat Man U at home = lets all go and back 'em!
Then they lose their next league away game. Arse have no chance Title: Re: premiership title race Post by: kinboshi on January 24, 2007, 01:00:24 PM Arsenal are still behind Liverpool.
Title: Re: premiership title race Post by: Steelio on January 24, 2007, 01:18:35 PM Its Man U's this season, no doubt about that, Chelsea are not the same without Terry
Title: Re: premiership title race Post by: fergus8 on January 24, 2007, 01:23:38 PM i think manu are in for some bad luck, chelski and arsenal have have prolonged spells without thier captains and best players, plus add europe into the mix and this could be one of the best ever title races
Title: Re: premiership title race Post by: kinboshi on January 24, 2007, 01:37:56 PM Might have been different if Liverpool and Arsenal hadn't blown their chances early on. Still possible, just highly improbable.
Title: Re: premiership title race Post by: The Baron on January 24, 2007, 03:42:42 PM With Liverpool's run in and the fact they are ahead of Arsenal already these odds bemuse me.

Title: Re: premiership title race Post by: Karabiner on January 24, 2007, 05:14:35 PM With Liverpool's run in and the fact they are ahead of Arsenal already these odds bemuse me. You can have even money Liverpoo v Arsenal in the league if you wish Aaron, same amount as our CL wager. Title: Re: premiership title race Post by: Horneris on January 24, 2007, 05:49:50 PM Scum have still got to go to Spurs, Pompey, Liverpool, Chelsea and EVerton away and could drop points at all those places, and the only tough away game Chelsea have to play is at Arsenal.
Im not saying i think Chelsea will win it, Scumchester are the clear favourites, but i think its a long way from over. COME ON CHELSEA, DONT LET THE SCUM WIN. Boldie you should lay off on betfair now there this price. So I have 3 X £20 @ evens on Liverpool to place higher than Arsenal this season with Dan, Jason and Ralph. And an extra £20 which I more or less owe Ralph already! LOL Title: Re: premiership title race Post by: Karabiner on January 24, 2007, 06:21:04 PM I haven't Dan. LOL I'm not sure about the other CL bet being over Aaron, after all you've already won the tie-breaker. All you need now is to beat Barca and/or for us to lose to PSV ;) Title: Re: premiership title race Post by: The Baron on January 24, 2007, 06:22:33 PM I haven't Dan. Title: Re: premiership title race Post by: Triple X on January 24, 2007, 10:33:57 PM Premiership champions - Stick all your money on Man Utd, they wont be caught.
The other 3 are playing for 2nd and with a 5 point gap and players coming back, i'd be surprised if chelski dont come 2nd. I think tho of all 4, Liverpool from memory have the easiest run in so anything is possible! Title: Re: premiership title race Post by: Nem on January 24, 2007, 10:44:31 PM Man United are the only team in the EPL with a completely fit squad!
http://www.physioroom.com/news/english_premier_league/epl_injury_table.php It still isn't over though... Title: Re: premiership title race Post by: Triple X on January 24, 2007, 10:48:39 PM Great website cheers - shall bookmark it
Man Utd have been very lucky but then i remember winning it in 89 on a thin squad which stayed fit (i think) Their first team squad isnt that big as well. They must have had half the players in the programme on sunday compared to arsenal. 2 other things Newcastle's injuries are unreal - Roeder is doing a sterling job considering And who the hell is Dervite for u guys?? The kid Dervitte is supposedly the next best thing (CB wise). I've heard great things about him, but unfortunately he needs his knee completely restructured (allegedly) a really bad injury Title: Re: premiership title race Post by: kinboshi on January 24, 2007, 11:10:42 PM With Liverpool's run in and the fact they are ahead of Arsenal already these odds bemuse me.
