A truly superb match.

Lets hope the 2nd leg is as entertaining.

Gutted is not the word.

Total incompetence by the manager and his staff

really proud of our boys tonite - fabregas is from a different planet.  Shame Walcott for the 2nd game in a row never showed up.

2-2 was definitely a fair result.  Lennon certainly gave Traore a lesson and Spurs will be hungrier in the 2nd leg

Still a long way to go

Maybe 1-2 more first teamers for the return leg.  Gilberto still suspended but maybe Adebayor but with Van P injured i would be amazed if Rosicky or Henry will be in the squad

Sigh !!!  fkin tactical error at half time... just like the last game against the goons, HOW THE FK can you sit back against the goons and hope to hit them on the counter attack ... you need to get at them and make them defend.

Still its only half time :)

Nem serious question as you see him week in week out but do you think Robinson is having a poor season?  Should he still be England's No 1?

I think this season he has looked very shaky on crosses and has had some bad games for both england and spurs.  He has definitely got it and previously has looked world class but he his form definitely seems to have dippe this season

England's No1 rotflmfao

He is a fat joke. punches like my Grandmother, comes for crosses like my Grandmother, off his line like David James - he has to go.

Was writing my last post before I saw your one.

A bit of a coincidence that recently we have had 3 keepers.

Sullivan: First season he was class (remember 01 semi final vs Arse) next season he was useless.

Keller: 1st season he was class, next season he was useless

Robinson: first season he was "world class" the next two he has been useless.

I honestly believe it is due to lack of competition at Spurs in goal, Han Segars incompetence and the fact that his bad form also coincide with him signing a fat 7 year 30k a week deal at WHL.

do u really think so?  im sure Hans Segers as your keeping coach cant help you (is he still teh coach?)

But he is still a class keeper.  Think the England f*ck up has haunted him somewhat and maybe not having King in front of him for protection that often

As a Sheff Utd fan I am surprised that Paddy Kenny is still playing for us, he is far better than many in the Prem.

nah!!! He makes Paul Robinson look anorexic!!!

Also too small - more of a good shot stopper than great at crosses.  Still a good keeper dont get me wrong

Still after Gerrard's recent performance for you - he probably makes Kenny look world class.

Not many great keepers around at the moment because the game is so fast, powerful and skilful they are made to not look as good.

Funnily the best keeper i have seen this season is Carson at Charlton.  First time i have seen Arsenal fans applaud the opposition keeper and even chant "sign him up"!!

Carson is different class.

Boy for a Gooner, you are hitting the nail on the head tonight!

Happy with the draw in the end, i thought spurs got it wrong after they had a great start.

really pissed off with both goals we conceded, 1st toure shouldve headed, if he had a shout from the keeper then he shouldve come. 2nd never a free kick and then an OG to top it off.

Spurs will probably be pissed about the beast's 2nd, Robinson was all over the place.

Hopefully we can keep up our unbeaten run at home. perfectly balanced maybe Wenger will play a few more 1st teamers to get the job done.

I know a few who think he should start over Reina.

He's capable of performing in a Champions League final though eh? ;)

Iv never been a big Robinson fan. EVen at Leeds he couldnt get in the team ahead of Nigel Martyn.

Hes awful at dealing with crosses, always tries to pucnh, and makes too many errors. Hes only great at reflex saves.

Carson (another ex Leeds goalie) will be the best in a couple of years. And will probably be in goal for Liverpool.

If you think letting 3 goals is capable.

I think saving twice at point blank range from the best striker in the world (at the time) and saving two penalties is peforming yes.

More imporatntly he stayed on the pitch to win us the match. ;)

Boys behave!!

Dudek had a decent final and his penalty saves won Liverpool the final but his form is too erratic as shown in both the FA Cup and League Cup.  He is a decent keeper

Baron is right tho, if Lehmann hadnt been so rash in the final, maybe we would have won it.  I thought Almunia was at fault for both goals (tho i am relying on memory a bit as the pain means i still have not seen the goals on telly yet).  However his last ditch penalty save in the semi at least got us to the final

Nem will find this funny as well but i have never seen Nayim's or Escobar's (??) goals from the 1994 Final as have refused to see them to this day on telly (so please no You Tube links!!!).  I was also a little drunk in the stadium too so dont remember too much of the game.  In fact i think i was drunk for the Galatasary final and was definitely drunk in Paris last year.  All 3 were defeats so lesson to myself is to stay sober next time we get to a Euro final!!

Dan and are are only playing. It's all good fun really Trips.

Dudek is pants really, he'll always be a LFC legend for that final though.

I felt sorry for Lehmann, I had spent all last season teasing Karabiner about how crap he was, then he had the season of his life getting you to that final. I dont doubt without that red card you boys would have won it.
