Title: Roger Federer aka 'Tennis God' Post by: Nem on January 26, 2007, 05:00:06 PM Was his destruction of Roddick yesterday the greatest tennis performance of all time?
Title: Re: Roger Federer aka 'Tennis God' Post by: The Baron on January 26, 2007, 05:01:27 PM Laver said he was the greatest only 2 days ago.
Title: Re: Roger Federer aka 'Tennis God' Post by: Nem on January 26, 2007, 05:03:06 PM Laver said he was the greatest only 2 days ago. Yes, but that is pretty obvious :D Title: Re: Roger Federer aka 'Tennis God' Post by: ChipRich on January 26, 2007, 05:11:43 PM He's not bad
Title: Re: Roger Federer aka 'Tennis God' Post by: The Baron on January 26, 2007, 05:13:05 PM I'd give him a game of chess
Title: Re: Roger Federer aka 'Tennis God' Post by: ChipRich on January 26, 2007, 05:15:02 PM Me 2, reckon i could take a few sets off him! you just have to go for one of his many weaknesses rotflmfao
Title: Re: Roger Federer aka 'Tennis God' Post by: ChipRich on January 26, 2007, 05:16:04 PM oh shit, he doesnt have any does he! :blonde:
Title: Re: Roger Federer aka 'Tennis God' Post by: Steelio on January 26, 2007, 05:24:13 PM He should win the final, but maybe gonzalez might give him a slight game as he destroyed Nadal
Title: Re: Roger Federer aka 'Tennis God' Post by: ChipRich on January 26, 2007, 05:28:52 PM Destroyed Haas aswell today, should be a good game, both players on top form
Title: Re: Roger Federer aka 'Tennis God' Post by: Nem on January 26, 2007, 05:30:38 PM Destroyed Haas aswell today, should be a good game, both players on top form Gonzalez will not even win a set. Title: Re: Roger Federer aka 'Tennis God' Post by: ChipRich on January 26, 2007, 05:32:14 PM probably not, but Gonzalez is playing immense,will be a good game
Title: Re: Roger Federer aka 'Tennis God' Post by: Sark79 on January 26, 2007, 08:31:53 PM He may be the best, but I would rather watch Hewitt play any day. Hewitt has an amazing attacking style which is brilliant to watch
Title: Re: Roger Federer aka 'Tennis God' Post by: Graham C on January 26, 2007, 08:55:20 PM Federer is amazing to watch. Gonzales beat Nadal easily Nadal had played a mammoth 3 hour plus game the day before against Murray. Gonzales had the easier draw and went through in straight sets. Likewise today, Haas was never in contention.
Federer will win in straight sets imo, but Gonzales may take the first set to a tie breaker ;) hmm, that sounds a bit disrepectful towards Gonzales, I didn't mean to be. He has played well, but I can't see anyone beating Federer. Title: Re: Roger Federer aka 'Tennis God' Post by: kinboshi on January 26, 2007, 09:30:50 PM Federer is the best male player of all time. The fella's a genius. ;tightend;
Gonzalez is going to be an excellent player. But he's playing Federer. So, if he wins a set, that'll be a fantastic result for him. Title: Re: Roger Federer aka 'Tennis God' Post by: boldie on January 27, 2007, 02:00:14 PM Federer is the only reason I like to watch tennis again. He is simply astonishing.

Title: Re: Roger Federer aka 'Tennis God' Post by: boldie on January 28, 2007, 12:03:57 PM wow..he almost dropped a set...Jesus the guy is good.
Title: Re: Roger Federer aka 'Tennis God' Post by: kinboshi on January 28, 2007, 01:08:32 PM A certain Miss Sharapova isnt too bad either You can have her then, I'll stick with Ana - then we're both happy. Federer was immense again. Gonzalez had a chance in the first set, but after that it was all one-way traffic. Federer is immense. He's definitely going to beat Sampras's record of grand slam wins, Connor's record for consecutive weeks as World No.1, and probably equal Laver's feat in winning the slams in the same year. ;tightend; Title: Re: Roger Federer aka 'Tennis God' Post by: Nem on January 28, 2007, 02:10:07 PM A certain Miss Sharapova isnt too bad either You can have her then, I'll stick with Ana - then we're both happy. Have you ever seen a Roddick press conference after he has lost to Federer. They are hilarious! So dry, yet so funny. Title: Re: Roger Federer aka 'Tennis God' Post by: Acidmouse on January 29, 2007, 03:28:27 PM I hate tennis but you don't mind Federer being so good as he don't act like a dick on and off the court.
