Title: Holidays abroad help (websites) please
Post by: redimp on January 28, 2007, 10:59:04 PM
Pete and I would like to take our girls abroad again this year.

We got a cracking deal last year 2 weeks in Turkey all inclusive for £1.600 .

I have looked all over the net and can not get even close to this price.

If anyone knows any good websites I could look on I would be very grateful.

(We would prefer to fly from Humberside,Doncaster or Leeds)
Thanks in advance
Shelly xx

Expedia is normally the cheapest one for me, and is the easiest site to navigate around too IMO.

The other thing I do is check teletext.co.uk pages for any deals around there.  Quite a lot of them have very limited websites though, so it usually requires a follow up phone call if you find something of interest.

the only thing with teletext is to look out for hidden charges, Often the price does not nclude transfer fees and other services which can end up adding on a lot more than the price stated on the screen.

Was it really a year ago that you were in Turkey - there was an explosion & a big fire at the Airport while you were there if I recall correctly?

My bro just booked a great deal in Sharm-El-Sheikh via http://www.otbeach.com/ he got 2 free child places, there were 4 adults thought, so I'm not sure whether you'd get that.

Other good sites are www.goingabroad.com/ and www.teletextholidays.co.uk/
