Anyone know if the Marbella Kid actually Lives in Marbella ? Just that i'm going to Fuengirola in Feb which is just down the road and wondered what the poker scene was like out there. Paul ? not sure if you use the blonde site but perhaps if you see this or if anyone that knows you does you could ask him to drop me a pm regarding poker in the costa del sol. Thank you. Dave

Paul Zimbler turned up at The Sportsman last Monday, he was in good spirits, & gave me a box of DTD Mints and a pack of DTD Condoms. (I jest not, the label said "go All In with DTD"....). Opportunity to sample them has yet to present itself, but I'm a patient man.

He is now associated with DTD, (European Marketing Manager I believe) so I suggest you Post on one of the blonde-DTD Boards, I can guarantee if you do you'll get some kind of response.

Got back from La Cala last week (dad lives over there) which is just down the road, Poker has become massive out there...loads of bars now run poker games that were not there last year.

The players lounge in Benalmadena has some good tourneys and quite a friendly bunch, a great little bar in cala honda called sit & go and aces in Fuengirola itself, and quite a lot I didnt play in if you have a look around....

You are a bit young for that kind of thing JP, a condom would serve no purpose in your case.

I grew up in the days before condoms, we used to use pigs bladders. The Welsh used sheeps bladders, but someone forgot to tell them that the sheep were supposed to be killed first.

Poker in Marbella

As someone said there are several places now running game.
The pubs maily do sit and goes and the clubs bigger events and cash games.

If you let me know what stakes you wish to play I will be happy to recomend you to a few different clubs.
Please also let me know where you are staying and how far you are willing to travel for a good game.
