dont you sleep lol, over the years ive probley played with most players you have heard off except Johnny Moss all were great characters soom good and a some bad couple of quick stories you have to remember im going way back when i lot of the players did not have big bank rolls or were skint I was sat in a game next to TJ (cant tell you his last name he might sue me lol ) we had been playing for about 2 hrs and a guy guy came over and give him$5 he owed him "thank good for that he say's" calling over a cocktail waitress and ordering a coke he told me he was dieing for a drink but was to embarrassest to order one as he did not have a dollar to tip her (how times have changed) Eskimo Clake was a charactor won a bit here and there but always skint and would try any thing to get money out of you,One day there was a big comp $2500 buy in (masive back then lol) any way in the dinner break Eskimo walks up to an old poker pro and say's how you doing with chips Ive just doubled up the old guy says what about you about the same might have a few more say Eskimo and agree to swap 10% the old guy goes of to his friends and says Ive just stuffed Escimo Clake we have swapped 10% and i've already been knocked out Eskimo tell his friends how he as just swaped 10% with a guy and he as not even bought into the game lol (well I thought it was funny) lots more I could tell youi but im sure your board by now
Party Party Party we walked up to the cage in Binion's with a receipt for $1,100.000 and she says how do you want it, CASH please and shove it in a old bag jump in a limo and of to the Bellagio we stick a lump of it in the safe but I stick two bundles of $50K in my pocket and go and meet the hedon mod and a few other guys in the fountana bar the champagne is already flowing and Joe Bevers shouts over its my round I turn to the waitress how is standing there holding a big sliver try and ask for 6 bottels of crystal champagne and some nuts  lol she says I will need a credit car sir as it will be about $5000 I promptly reached in my pocket and sticks $50000 on the try a manager comes running over and sticks it back in my pocket and says we can sort it out later we all got pissed and had a great night one of the guys was so pissed he went to his room and called room sevice and asked for a vodka and coke and some fags they told him the drinks were in his mini bar but they did not supply fag he emptied his mini bar looking for vodka could not find any and put it all back then he remembered he had some "fags " in his hotel room down town (a bloody long way away) but because he was so pissed he thought he could walk it he does not remember how far he walked but he never found down town and when we were checking out could not under stand why they wanted him to pay $270 min bar bill as he had put ever thing back but they explaned once you lifted the bottels up they were yours so pay up he had to lol
four of us arrive at the airport check in with me holding about a million bucks in my BIG flight bag being a tight sod I ask if we buy three 1st class tickets can we have one free after a bit of discussion they agreed and siad $17000 how do you wish to pay when i opend the bag the guy nealy had a hart attack i think they thought we were drug rinners but some one recognized Julian as the young guy who had won all the money and every thing was ok  but the check in staff thought they might be a problem going through security so one of them took us to see the boss securirty guy we thought they would be very discreet but not the Americans lol they was about 200 people waiting to go through and four x ray machines so they stoped every one going through and put my bag on the conveyer belt half way through theyt stoped the belt and the guy just bsat there looking at it he then ran it back and swaped seats with one of the other guys from one of the other x ray machines so he could have a look this happend four times so they all got to see what a millon bucks looked like lol when they had finished the boss took me into a small room and asked me to empty the bag on the table after a couple of minutes he told me to put it back smiled and siad sorry I just wanted to see what a millon looked like, when we got on the plane there was a bit of a mixe up and i sat in Julion's seat it was ok untill the pilot announced a youg guy in seat ?? had just won over a millon dollors now I no I look very young LOL but i think most people thought the win had aged me 25 years over night
when we arrived back in manchester Julion did not feel safe taking the money home so i had a great few days carring it round ever were i went
two good thing happend before the flight that we did not no about we got very lucky we did not no you had to declare money going out of the USA or that they could take it off you if you didn't if we had we would have shit our selves

Hi Snoopy yes you can take a million bucks to the bank BUT there would change it into £ give you a shit rate so thats not the way to do it
Hi Micko Julian asked me to buy him in to the game and offerd me 60% I agreed with two conditions but when it turned out so much money we choped it 50   50

ME and Aces are old mates and that on late night poker was a bit of a set up We were playing at the table and he was telling us all how he could some times tell when a card was coming I set him all in with AK and he called with A4 and of course he new a 4 was coming amnd knocked me out lol, I had just had the post interview and was walking away and some one said who do you fancy winning I was steming a bit and said I dont care as long as that smarmy bast*** does not win they thought it was very funny so draged me back to do an other interview they wanted me to say it on camera but i was only joking and I new that he liked the name Aces so i went on and they said who would you like to win and i replyed " I dont give a F**k as long as that smarmy bast*** Simon ACES Trumper doe's not win" simon only coment was thanks for using ACES mate lol

I first meet Rob along with Nick at the casion in Austria a few years ago they were sat with Simon Nowab Rob and Simon were playing heads up my girl friend played them both and won LOL I played them both and Im too modest to tell you who won ( but it was not them ) LOL after that I bumped into them a few times on the poker circuit and about june of 2005 we got talking about there ideas for a poker club and an on line site I loved the ideas because every one involved was apoker player we all had our own ideas of what we thought players wanted and yes we would like to make some money from it but not like the Biig Casion and site were most players are just a number and if theres some thing we dont liike then TOUGH theres plant more customerse out there I was very excited by Robs idea to try and give some thing back even to the small players Ive meet hundreds of on line players at poker events and one thing they had in common was there driving ambition to get out there to the big event but there bank roll stopped them so they had to win an event on line One of the main things in DTD that impressed me was that players could savfe there DTD $$$ or rake back and use this to go to some of the main event around the world Travel with our team (get drunk at the bar) and hopefully have a great time
the main thing it is with in reach of players of all DTD players who player a few hours a day on line and even small player can get some thing like a trip to the new club and get to meet Simon ACES Trumper

you know what kevin ive spoken to you on the phone quite a few times and ive tought you a few lessons at the tables online lol,,,, but have never met you i think your one of the most genuine guys in poker....good luck with your new venture with dtd

Kev whats the biggest bar tab you have ever picked up on your travels and who was involved?
Also in your oppinion what is the optimal ammount of Black you should drink during a long day at an EPT- I was a bit surprised when the bar was closed by your lovely missus very early in Monte Carlo.

Only Because it was down to 12 players and he was chip leader, and the small matter of 1 million euro's lol (2005 before any one aks)

dont remember the bigest tab at the bar was but i remember one round at the bellagio was over $6000 With the Hendon Mob but at lat we got some drinks for that,one very well known pokerplayer who shall remain namles had to tip a coctail watres $1000 after he through up right down her very low cut top (its ok Ram did not tell them your name)
the amount of black to be drunk is in direct result of the cards you get if its a long day and you are getting no cards or down on chips 3/4 of a bottle should be drunk the card will start to look much better complet that bottle and start you next one but try to drink slower now because your chip stack will be quit large and they might fall over and spoil your drink even after a bottle or two you should try and sleep for an hour or two the you can go into day two quit refreshed and if you hit bad cards start all over again

just had some bad beats on line took a bit of cash of some donkey (its OK Simon wont say it was you) at Chinese poker and he gone home and I'm board so I'm going to tell my self a joke I hope i like it
an Irish man walks into a put and orders 3 pints of Guinness
He takes the drinks to a table sites down and takes a sip from each one
this goes on for about 2 hours drinking from one glass then the other and then the other
He take the empties back to the bar and orders there more pints
the bar man says that not the best way to drink Guinness it will go flat on you just buy one at a time
No No the man says what it is I have 2 brothers  one lives in the USA and the other in Australia
ever Monday night we all go to a bar and drink like this and its like we are still together
this goes on for about a year then one night he comes looking a bit sad
and orders only 2 pints the bar man does not no what to say as he watches him walk away with only 2 drinks
after a few minutes the bar plucks up curage walks over and Say's I would like to offer my condolances on your loss
the Irish man looks up puzzled look on his face then smiles and says  no no you got it wrong

sorry not got back to you sooner but forgot my password so could not sign in lol Reading other people is a big part of poker it does not always work out but the night you are talking about i did not find it very hard they were showing there cards a lot and there betting pattern's were pretty constent
Las Vegas I'm very glad I played I was not going to right up to the last minute it took Ram and Roland De wolf to talk me into it and give me $10K to the buy in lol
