Does anyone else find vicky coren really F'in irritating!!

i actually thing jesse may in the early days of LNP hit the rght note on how to comentate i prefer vicky as the co-comentator working alongside a jesse who isnt trying to do a sid wadell impresion

I think the EPT has the best commentating team. Colin murray and john duthie do the commenting and banter well and also sometimes have good ol barny boatman in now and again.

Scrap ALL poker commentators, they're completely superfluous now.

The two fellas on High Stakes Poker are good. 

So easy to criticise from the safety of your keyboard. I'm sure if any of us were to be placed in front of the camera, given a microphone and asked to speak to a few hundred thousand people, many of whom are opinionated, knowledgable poker players, we might have a different view.

Apologies but Colin Murray has to be the most annoying commentator - and not just on the poker. Whenever i watch a football game on channel 5 i have to change channels when he comes on.

I find that most of the half decent commenators are those who've played the game before, Like you mention Barny Boatman and another name would be Gary Jones as well as John Duthie - even the Devilfish can give an entertaining piece or two in the commentary booth.

People would be able to judge my microphone skills for themselves - if only i could figure out how to shrink my 2.4GB camtasia MTT recording into a size small enough to allow viewers to watch it!! :D

I agree; I'd just rather hear the verbal at the table than some guy say:"all the chips are going in here" over and over again.

I turn the sound down when it is Jesse May and Colin Murry.  In terms of presenters, I like the calm Brits such as Gary Jones  any day. Vicky Coren has a really nice voice compared to the women where I stay  :D

Vicky Coren is sooooooo annoying!!!!!! Almost as much as her brother on the F word! On some shows they do shut up when the player says summat interesting but vicky really does only speak when the players speak and then says "ken lennard just said.............". I dont need you to bloody tell me!!!!!!! Just STFU!

I have watched the first 2 of the new WHGP and i think the Coren/Boatman combination is brilliant personally, no cringing when they talk about poker hands, they actually understand what's going on and bounce of each other well. HSP is also good.

I dont even have to bite to this one because we BOTH KNOW JD is an awesome commentator. You must love him aswell coz he does all the big league finals and cups!

He's bloody appalling.  The coverage on the BBC for rugby league is shocking - especially when compared directly to Sky's.

He was a great player, but then again, so was John Barnes at footy...

Barny, Gabe and Vicky are class.

he is awesome. Knows the game, knows the tricks, doesnt take any sht and is unbiased. So that last reason makes him twicxe the commentator of stuart barnes and dewi morris! I foregt the bald guys name on sky league that does expert analysis, only thing he analyses expertly is his **** the big w*****r!

Like I said, the BBC TV coverage is shocking.  Thankfully on Sky you can change the commentary to 5Live instead of the amateurish jibberish they give you on BBC1.

You obviously know nothing about Rugby League if you think the coverage on Sky is poor.  Bet you're a st helens fan as well... ;D

In both shows they just relax and let the action do the work, I'm not a Colin Murray fan as he tends to over-egg things.

personally i think grub smith has taken the lead in the worst poker comentator contridicting himself all the time
