Title: Cash Game Question Post by: Canuck on February 03, 2007, 05:03:50 PM What is a good return on cash games?
As in for every 100 hands how much would a good return yield, on average? Title: Re: Cash Game Question Post by: Swordpoker on February 03, 2007, 05:07:04 PM Given up on the multi-table tournaments so soon, huh? Well, you have been struggling a bit I suppose.
Title: Re: Cash Game Question Post by: Canuck on February 03, 2007, 05:19:01 PM lol, no my MTT results are paying for my cash lol
I want to treat cash more profesionally, and not just hop on and find a game want to take records and keep track of progress Title: Re: Cash Game Question Post by: byronkincaid on February 03, 2007, 06:10:52 PM It's usually measured in Poker tracker BB per 100. A PTBB is twice the big blind. so if you're playing 1/2 and you are winning 5 PTBB/100 you will be winning $20 every 100 hands you play. 5 PTBB/100 is imo considered pretty good to flipping good depending on what stakes you play.

Well I just played a 2 hour session 4 tabling the 10 cent 25 cent tables After a horrendous outdraw on THE FINAL HAND I was reduced to $24.05 profit over 560 hands That means I was making about 4.20 per hundred hands. so is that 8 big blinds? Cant be that good surely? BTW thanks for the information, much appreciated Title: Re: Cash Game Question Post by: Swordpoker on February 03, 2007, 07:26:22 PM It's usually measured in Poker tracker BB per 100. For sngs I base 500 hours of play on any one type of sng as an accurate measure of how well I'm doing. 100 hours is ballpark. Any cash players out there got a good idea of how many hands are needed for a reasonable accurate rate of profit? |
