i can understand but not happy

anyone used these programs? Are they safe?If so what is the best around?

There are several sniper software version around that are well used. They need your password to bid as do you.

Kernowlass is a very knowledgable ebayer and has won a community award for her help on the boards so i'd go with her answer.

This is all you have to do. Decide what the most you are prepared to pay for the item is and make that your maximum bid. If you get outbid, then that person has paid over the odds for it and wasted money.

Bidding early can lead to an inflated end of auction price though.

I use auction sniper all the time. You get 5 or 10 free snipes (wins not just bids). They have had my useranme and password for over a year and had no problems. Only thing that has gone wrong a few times is that it didn't bid in time at busy times. So set your lead time to 7+ seconds if you want to make sure it bids, 2-3 seconds missed out about half the time for me.

Once you use up your free snipes the charge is still pretty small and I find by using this I save more than it costs me. It had bid groups, which is a very useful feature. Say I want a nintendo Wii, i can set up a bid group and enter all the Wiis I can find into that bid group, tell the group how many I want to win, just one in this case, and it bids on them all for me, and stops if it wins one. By using this feature I get it to auto bid on loads of items at lower than the going price and it just happens that now and then you get one cheap.

I also use Auction Sniper without problem.
They will all need your username and password otherwise they wont be able to bid for you

In that case you must know where to get stuff cheap enough to sell at the new inflated prices ?

This is the worst possible way to bid on ebay.
You still bid the max you are willing to pay....merely 2 secs from the end. Means you will pay less more often.

I cannot bring myself to put in the 'most I am prepared to pay'. It ends up often inflating the final price as someone tries to leapfrog me, making the item's perceived worth higher also. I always snipe personally, or use bidnapper...www.bidnapper.com It is server side (ie not run from a client on your PC, so you dont rely on your machine/connection). I have an account for buying, I don't care if they have my password, it's probably safe with them, and the info they can get using it is limited.
You'll end up saving hundreds by using these. Not a lot to a man of your means, but money in your pocket nonetheless...

It was either the expensive clothes or the extravagant bets ;)

Am commuting to London these days, so my live game has died a death. Apologize to bobafett and bandit, I hope they have found an alternative source of income :)
Miss the Glasgow games a lot, hope to pop in soon. Liking the look of the Cincin tourney schedule. You playing much?

haha forgot about that, the green and white one. Didn't even realise I was wearing colours til he mentioned. My god, that man can play poker, keep locking horns with him in Stanleys. 'What a player, what a guy...RERAISE!'. Bob's the best, still can't figure out his game though. Love the 'tsssssssss release of steam sound effect' he comes up with every time I enter a pot, he should commentate the WSOP.
Man, I need to get back there soon.

I can see the line up now. Ivey, Cunningham, Willy, Manuel, Tony G, Bandit, Ludo. The old pros wouldn't know what hit them :)
