call.

backdoor straight and flush draw with your two Ace outs.

thats if he has the set.

You win more in this situation than lose as you often dominating his overpair to the board.

i may lay it down against a rock.

I would have to call,

Putting him on TT-KK . I think If he had hit the set here he would have raised.. and not lumped it all in running you off. look's like a huge over bet to run you off.. Hold your breath he could have held the 88, but i would be thinking he would want to get 1 more bet out of you.. I CALL :)up

Hate to play devils advocate here but a guy has bet allin and another guy has called, this stinks to me. I wouldn't say this is an automatic call. If you are up against a flush draw and a pair with live card you may not be favourite in the hand and you may already be up againt a set. The + EV play would definately be to reraise allin (the guy who smooth called -you will at leat get a little side pot going). I wouldn't be surprised if you were beat but it is hard to fold in that situation. Reraise allin for me then get ready to reload and mutter profanities.

I would agree with Ariston and reraise allin hoping to make a sidepot with the big stack whilst clenching buttocks !

But folding is perfectly logical and could not be considered a bad play IMO

Come on Soonpy tell us

I'd go all in, but then I would, and it means nothing. I'm suddenly running colder than an Eskimo's Y fronts

I suppose you folded being a sensible Chap Snoops?

he did, then discovered he was miles ahead against jacks and 10's ;D

I think that the 1st player has  a high pocket pair and the 2nd player has a flush draw.

Tricky one I think.

I reckon the 1st guy has Kings. In fact I'm pretty darn sure. Queens at the very least. He probably wouldn't go all-in with jacks.  I have the  ad so he doesn't have ad kd.

Not too sure what the second guy has. True, the smooth call is very suspicious, but this could also mean he has the flush draw and is trying to get value by luring me in. Once again I have the  ad, which narrows his options, but there's no reason why he can't have a hand like  kd qd or  jd td. It is online don't forget.  ;)

Could the caller be holding a set? Not sure. I doubt he'd call preflop with  2c  2s or   3h 3c, but maybe he'd be tempted with  8s 8c. If so, then at least I'd have the backdoor flush draw and 2 live aces to hit. Not sure that's enough to warrant a call though.

He could certainly have an overpair. Kings are unlikely if the all-in holds them. He may have queens, but I'm not sure he'd flat call the original raise. - even if the raise to 4 is suspicious. Jacks is a definite option. Tens less so, but players online do sometimes struggle to lay hands down.

If I am to play this hand, I believe I must move all-in. If he has me beat, then he's going to bet on the next street anyway, and I'll be too pot committed to fold. If he has a draw, I don't want to give him a chance to fold on the turn or river. Calling's not an option in my book.

Hmm. Still not sure what the best play was...

(Could do with some words of wisdom from Ironside  ::))

snoop this was all on the clock.

what you posted above would have to have been worked out in a flash. with online play we don't get the time to way up all the hands and what if's, with the clock running and the money on the table. I don't think it's a tough call or reraise

if this was my hand on the 60 second clock the toughts i would get was flush draw and pocket KK or QQ

I might have ran into the set. but i can't fold here CLINK I'm all in :)up

Yup, all in, you take the beats with aces as soon as you take the silly money away from the silly hands. If you're beat, you're beat, but that happens, in the long run, you should be ahead.
