Title: Some interesting Datamine data
Post by: marcro on February 08, 2007, 04:11:05 PM
I saw this on the 2+2 forum where someone showed their datamine results for PLO and Omaha h/l combined (50/100+,500/1000+,>5k hands).  Not a bad run for Luigi66369 (Patrick Antonius).

Talk about variance - Gus Hansen is up $937,000 but is actually running at a loss in terms of BBs, whereas Allen Cunningham has a win rate of 0.19BB/100 and yet is in the bath to the tune of $424,000.

Just goes to show that having your good luck in the bigger games as opposed to the smaller ones is just as important than actual skill at these levels.

Also, Antonius's W$SD stat is lower than eps, even though he's $4m better off.
