Blinds at 20/40 and just took a biggish pot with rockets.

Am in mid position. Hold AQ diamonds. I raise to 140. Cut off, who is second chip leader at table to me, raises to 440. He's been LAG but haven't seen him make a move like this.

1. Do you lay down?

Let's say you don't :) And the board comes J62, two diamonds. The pot is 1200 or so. You're first to act.

2. What's your move?

Let's say you bet 400 and he moves all in for his remaining 2400 chips. Calling this and losing would leave you with about 1800 chips. Average chip stack at about 2500, 60 players left.

3. What's he holding and what to do?

ok..you didn't fold pre-flop that's mistake nr 1..I hate AQ and AJ in these situations.

The pot is 1200 but you only bet 400 into it..that shows weakness and that's why your oppo can nmove all-in. IF you feel you have to bet atleast make it a decent sized one (1k+) he reraises now and it's an easy fold no matter what he has as you're likely to be miles behind.

boldie. I think you've missed his flush draw. Pot on flop is 940, so if he makes close to pot sized bet on flop then he has to call the all-in as he's getting 3/1 odds with between 9 and 15 outs!

Check/raise on the flop following pre-flop mis-click call.

This would be my move, having made the preflop mistake.

Heh. The pre flop call wasn't a misclick. It was just shite. It's odd ... I'd have folded AJ in a shot but AQ I can never seem to get away from.

Once the flop came I was pretty resolved to sticking my chips in if necessary. The 400 bet was pointless - I think check raise if I fancy a gamble or close to pot sized bet to maybe take it down there would have been the way forward. Regardless, he came over the top and I decided to call; plenty of outs, even though I was fully expecting to see trip jacks or some such. I wet my pants laughing when he turned over ...  Td 7d! Diamond hits the turn, I take a big pot and feel like a total donk  ;ashamed; 

I'm going to give it a rest for a week. Last few days I've been awful. Gah.
