Post by: SupaMonkey on February 12, 2007, 01:50:52 AM I don't think that either of them would call a large bet but i think you are ahead here.

Title: Re: A good move? Post by: M3boy on February 12, 2007, 12:36:59 PM A disguised Bad Beat story?????
Why bet so much? You find out the same answer by betting smaller - seems to me you are trying to win EVERY pot you are in. Title: Re: A good move? Post by: ifm on February 12, 2007, 12:50:38 PM How is a bad beat story?
The trouble is of course if you get a caller you are dead so really you wanna be risking a little less than everything!! Title: Re: A good move? Post by: M3boy on February 12, 2007, 12:56:57 PM The refernece to "bad beat" was a j/k ifm.
I agree with you though, he only gets called by someone who is ahead of him. Title: Re: A good move? Post by: temp0r on February 12, 2007, 07:24:30 PM no bet on the turn?

That's why its called a move Paul.....otherwise it would be a value raise. I thought a pot sized raise would lock out anyone without a ten, and i couldn't see either of them with a ten. If i make it less don't i encourage Aces-up to call? I didn't bet the turn as A9/A8 were possible from the first caller. Title: Re: A good move?
