Which model aspire? Is it still under warranty? You say you can stop the beeping by taking the battery off? Does that mean you have the laptop plugged in and you remove the battery or remove the battery and put it back in? Does it still boot up with the battery in? Does the beeping never stop if you don't remover the battery but you get into windows OK or can you only get into windows without the beeping?
