Title: Re: Basic Internet Question! Post by: smithy69 on February 14, 2007, 10:24:30 AM another question - i used to have the standard internet screen with the address at the top of th epage, which you could manually write web addresses if needed
I dont have that anymore and have to go to webpages via a search engine, usually google. How do i get the page format back EDIT - I have found that if I go through mozilla the old format is there, but through normal internet explorer it isn't Title: Re: Basic Internet Question! Post by: kinboshi on February 14, 2007, 10:28:14 AM How do you get you windows to open up on maximised all the time. Hate having to do it manually! When you close a piece of software, it 'usually' remembers the last state it was in (maximised or not). So if oyu maximise it an then close it, when you re-open it it 'should' be maximised. Also, if you are accessing the software via a shortcut, you can edit the shortcut to open the software maximised (rather than normal). Right-click on the shortcut, select properties, and change the 'Run' drop-down to maximised. (edit - just realised that you're probably talking about Internet Explorer, rather than software in general? If that's the case, download IE7, new windows can open in tabs which means they're maximised, or go one better, use Firefox instead). Title: Re: Basic Internet Question!
