Title: If Carlsberg did Live Updates......
Post by: tikay on February 19, 2007, 01:49:42 PM
....they'd struggle to be as good as blonde's.

I've just finished reading the Walsall Live Update (I was away all weekend) & although I seem to say this a lot, I really do think it was the best blonde Live Update ever, it is jaw-droppingly good.

To Jen & snoops, top marks, you are THE best.

I rarely have chance to view those live, but I must spend 4-5hrs at work the next week going through the days play. Very nice job and great work.

Agreed Tikay

i thought that Flops and Tightend did a cracking job in Jan at Luton but the A-Team just set  the bar even higher

i bet they will both be asleep for the next 3 days

I agree too

the description of the hand (Snoopy) on which Chris Bruce exited on the bubble...KK vs QQ all-in pre, with descriptions of emotions, speech-play etc has to be the best ever live update post

I found myself telling my missus about that hand on the way to the shop yesterday. Replicating the post as best I could.

She looked bored, but not nearly as bored as she usually does when I talk about poker.

Well done Jen/Snoops. Four tough days, I hope you're taking it easy somewhere now.

Blonde Live Updates are Simply The BEST

They are a credit to the game of poker, and most importantly imo bring the world of LIVE POKER into the homes of any people who are unable to attend such events.

The superlatives will continue and they are well earned, long may the updates continue.

Thank you guys.

Muchos thankos, everyone.

Didn't arise till 6pm today and feel a bit jaded in truth. With the Broadway a few days prior, it's been a tough week with 12 hour days and 6 hour kips. Hard work, but can't complain, it remains fun.  :)

for a laff the should get a combo of any 2 from   me, kev, tank, bolt, nemesis, flushy, slick kid, ifm, etc to do an alternative update, full of internet slang for the word fish and loads of calls of justice.

"updates on wheels" doesn't really have a good ring to it.

Good idea Rick, clips of a certain someone saying "what is this" would be mandatory.

They were fantastic - a lot of players at Luotn last night were saying how good they were - well done Guys - the photo's were great too and really added to it - I love the way walsall projected the table onto a screen.
