Sorry to read you didn't make it Agent, but for future sat events, remember that third gets teh same as first here, even if you only have 1 chip left. Let others gamble for you and pass virtually every hand. You have no need to play table caoptain and knock out the shorties, just sit tight and let others gamble for you with their AK AQ etc. With a huge chip to blind ratio there is no need to involve yourself.

Out of interest, how many runners were there and how many starting chips did you get?

93 runners, start wit 2000 chips, 20min clock

i know wot ur saying, i did have that in mind to fold a lot, but it wasnt like i was way out in front. the top 6 were pretty even and i was never comfotrable enough to keep folding. the JJ just seemed to be the start of many times i was havin to lay down big hands and hit a cold deck. was devastated though, never played in a tourny the size of a GUKPT as only a student and cant afford it. i think nerves took over me a bit in the final stages

That sounds like agood structure.

With 186000 chips in play when you held 35000, the average stack was 23250 and blinds at presumably 400/800 or 600/1200.

Either way, you are a few orbits above average and plenty of play in most of your stacks I imagine, with the CL only on 37k. It is hard to make big passes consistently, as you need a totally different mindset to playing a tournament where you are going for the win, with a standard top heavy prize, but it is a must to be successful in these type of events.

Good luck - one to write off to experience.
