i am in the small blind. Pot limit tourney
decent standard of players.
i come across as pretty tight i would think, but have took a few uncontested pots since i became chip leader.
the bb was raising when first in before in the game, but has stayed away from reraising. 
i have layed down to a reraise a few hands earlier.
should i call or fold to the reraise? was my initial raise correct, or too much or too little?
as a sidenote this is final table with 7 players left. pays top 5. Player A has been disconnected for some time

pass, nothing wrong with the raise

I pass if reraising is not a standard move for him. He has potential to damage your stack. There will be better spots.

with u being chip leader he is not gonna risk his tourny life at this stage by rerasising with a mediocre hand, so u are most likely dominated. fold for me

I hate these situations because its so easy to get outplayed. That's why i opt for the limp re-raise in these spots, as it is i think you have to pass.

Standard pass unless he's a known move maker.

i called, came up against aj and lost. then ended up finishing 7th after a series of 15 or so hands where every 50/50 went against me.

my reasons for calling were that i was getting 2/1 and could be looking at playing against a low pair, ax (x being less than 10) or even suited connectors. even if i'm up against aj, aq, kk i'm still getting nearly the odds i need for a call.

my raise from sb could look like a cheeky steal and the bb may want to slow me down.

for an hour or two after i was convinced the call wasn't a bad one and i'd always have to do it again in future.

now i can see it's not about odds and more about keeping a stack that i can play with. maybe

i guess it's all part of poker education

So much is situational m8. But calling with the hope that he might have a small/medium pp is a bad idea. Save your stack for fold equity moves, after all, thats all this game really comes down too......................
