At the moment we are expecting to go to Playtech on March 15th although this is about the 4th date I've been given thus far and could well change again. I will keep you posted. We are in negatioations with Tribeca to move sooner than the 15th so please bear with us.

VC is moving accross today and the range of games available will be greatly affected by Tribeca's loss of players as large skins go. Especially at some of the bigger stakes.

All signs from the new network are good. There were two 10/20 NL games available at 4PM today, so at peak time after all the skins move accross there should be a very good choice of games at every level.

One final note is that Ipoints will be cashed out for all of you the day before the move. So no need to worry there.

Disappointed that we weren't informed about this as i've been saving them up for months.

As am I that I was not informed about it after asking as much as I have.

is all we can do with them now cash them in?  Is there a minimum amount?  I only have 38k, will they change them up?  Is the new point scheme not going to be worth anything?  Surely there's a convertion rate of old points for new, they can't just write them off surely?

The points will be converted, but it's entirely possible the player may get a rough deal in this change.

2,000 APs = $1 and they don't know if you'll get a dollars worth on ipoker for 2,000 APs.

If you change it to dollars before the move, then $1 = $1. They can't screw you there.

What's the minimum amount of notice we'll get of the switchover, do you know?

Just been told I need 50,000 before I can cash out.  Used up the rest for tourneys.  Only got 38,000 in the account - but the host told me that "they'll be worth exactly the same when the software changes".

They do, you'll just be better off converting them to cash though.

Guys when Kev and I met the head of Bowmans a couple of weeks back we were told that APs are worth 5X what Ipoints will be worth so this thread is a warning to cash in your APs BEFORE the move.

Someone needs to tell the Hosts that...

You do NOT have to cash them in between now and the move. On the final day before we go Bowmans will cash in for you.

So if any manager doesn't allow you to cash them in please do not worry.

Man it's such a horrible horrible interface :( for the new vc room etc. I don't quite get how come blonde is still on the old thingy, it's so quiet! Which rooms are still using that software?

I think it's even a little softer too. The VC Brits have gone, but the Canadians are still playing on Tribeca  :D ;scarymoment;

TBH seeing the trouble VC players are having I'm kinda glad we're moving a bit later.

VC used to be one of my favorite card rooms but its terrible now.
Dont like the graphics, its slow, and you can hardly read the dialogue.

I remember hearing that Blonde was going to be one of the first to move; now with VC moved and PPP moving soon and BSQ a few days after that, it looks like Blonde will be the last man standing!

$5 extendeds really *will* be Blonde private games after all...

does anyone know why the AP buy ins for the freerolls have dropped so dramatically?  I usually use mine to play these, but they've dropped them to, for example, 50aps for a $1000 freeroll, meaning the world and his mother are playing instead of the usual field sizes.  Was hoping to use mine up on freerolls with smaller fields before the move!

Too many players have gone to guarantee prizepools.

However, post network move the guarantees will be back and better.

Another question about migration. What happens to all the player notes I've built up? I know they are held in a text file on my PC.

Do they get copied across automatically to the new software?

So of the 30% loyalty bonus, 25% is payed into your account.

If the points are worth 1% on Playtech, 29% will be payed into your account.

(Might be wrong, but I'm pretty sure this is the case)
