same happened to me except I flopped royal flush holding  kd jd and now Ifind it difficult to pass. I know it's rubbish and I don't believe in 'lucky hands' but it looks so good to me

Three years Ive been playing...had 2 royals against me and never seen a sniff of one for myself.

I have had two Royal flushes both Diamonds, both times i was doing my pieces and both times i won about $60  :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

I have had one straight flush which was clubs, again hardly won anything  :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

I've had several royal and straight flushes but the only one I made anything from was a board of  ts js qs ks I had  asp and some poor sap had  9s and got stubborn.

I think every player in the world would pay you off in that situation.

I've never had a royal, only ever had 1 straight flush and once lost quads against quads

also in draw poker about 4 years ago I was dealt Quads, and changed 1 and a friend changed 3. I bet he raise, I re raise all the chips go in. he changed 4 to a royal.

I was steaming about that for about a year

i had a nice royal on hills , had  jh qh flop was ah kd kh checked round on flop turn   th  checked around again, river kc a guy bets £4 into the pot , I min raise not expecting any action . He moves all in foe £200 more (£1/£2 nlh I had about £230) I smile and push all in . He shows  ks kc Ouch.
Still he got £450 for the bad beat! I picked up pot of over £400 a share of badbeat jp £225 and £150 for the royal bonus . Tasty

T.E. i had exactly the same, except i flopped quad 9's vs Jacks full, he caught. Luckily it was the small game in the vic and i only had 250 infront of me.

My worst ever beat was 89h on a 7hJhTh flop........

riverdave had a KKKQQ full house lose to a Royal on the river in a big cash game at the Vic I think, though he could confirm

Yeah it was a 10-20 Limit game. The flop came down 7hThJh, the BB who had raised pre flop led out, the other limper raised i called, they capped it between them.

The turn came out Jc, this time myself and the limper cap.

River comes Kh, the BB checks limper bets i raise BB re-raises (at this point i had him on the royal) the limper capped and i was never folding for 2 bets into that pot with a SF.

Sure enough he had AQ for the royal, the other guy had JT for the boat!

Just 1 of them things really! What made it worse was all the action i was getting, lol. The turn card was perfect, i am just glad it was 10-20 LIMIT and not 10-20 NL!

Yeah lol, my mate lost with  ad ac VS asp 8h on a   kc 7d  2h flop  for $120,000 playing 100/200nl on Prima. something like 829/1 shot

Hi Tighty, thanks for your help last night. Tighty got busted out at the Gutshot, then stayed there until 0430 Live Updating. That's REAL devotion to the cause. Thanks Richard.

I was supposed to be at Gutshot tonight, but I was too tired after my all-nighter last night. I had to come home - the cat-sitter lady was unavailable  - & I never woke up until 6pm! So, a night off from the Gutshot Festival, dammit.

But Jen's play last night was truly awesome. The Girl has game, and some.
