 after watching Elezra flopping 4 Aces and getting paid off from Farha on a draw , the commentator says the odds on flopping quads with a pair in the hole is 408/1 , he then said he has had Aces more than 400 times and never flopped Quads.

 id imagine a few of you have flopped Quads in Omaha but any in Holdem , personally i can remember flopping Quads 4 times.

Flopped with Aces, Tens and Sevens.   I think it's happened more than that though.

flopped quads twice in one mtt... on consecutive BB's too!!

Which wa funny as both times I held 88 and beat a raise by AA :)

Unsurprisingly I went on to win that mtt :)

In my first ever live game i flopped QQ, got too excited and rather than check it, i announced all in! lol needless to say it didnt pay off!

 on the other hand , ive been paiid off every time.

 first 1 i held KQ flop was  K K K and got paid off by Full House

 2nd had QQ flop was Q Q J and i sat back and watched 2 other players trying to bluff each other , milked it to the death and ended up knocking someone out who had AJ

 3rd had 88 , flop was 8 8 9 and doubled through someone with 10's
 
 last one was Deuces on a 2 2 A K K board , presumably my oppo had AK or at least an A or K.

 absolutely incredible , although i have even seen top pros do what you say and try to get too fancy by betting their quads or whatever and not getting maximum value out their hand ( which their supposed to be good at apparently )

 Phil Laak vs Negreanu on HSP is a good example of this when it actually looked like Negreanu took the piss out of Laak when he laughed and sneered at his Re Raise , negreanu held 67 offsuit against Laak's QQ on  Q Q A board.

 Negreanu led out and Laak decided to raise , i dont see any point in this play watsoever , if youve got an unbeatble hand milk it for everything you can.

 in the end it actually looked like Negreanu owned Laak , as Laak said to him '' i was probably ahead '' when Negreanu mucked his hand.

Never flopped Quads but I have flopped a straight flush not sure what the odds are on that,

I had Q,9 of clubs, flop came 8, 10, J all clubs,  one player hit trips one had a str8 draw, I checked & both went all in I won nearly 30,000 in chips & went on to win the tournament. Needless to say Q,9 suited is now my fav hand.

Last year I flopped quads twice in the same rebuy period

several times. one I remember very early in my live career, I had AQ and raised in early position. four callers. (pot limit)

someone else said "this guy grinning" looking at me.
I didn't realise i was smiling.
decided I had to put a amall bet in, hoping take me for a pair but it passed round.

My mate Phil (Blonde MIA) made quads about 3 times in the rebuy period of his first game a Notts I think. If he was here he'd tell you the details.

Flopped quads twice, 8's and Queen's.

The 8's got paid off when someone went all-in on the River, however, the Queens did not get me any chips at all.

yeah a few times.  The first time was about a week after I started dabbling in online poker in a cash game.  Flopped quad 10 s and ended up getting beaten by quad Jacks.  Bad beat bonus on that particular site was for quad jacks or above!  Best one I remember was flopping quad 8 s in a tournament and two people in front of me sticking all their chips in :D

Had a good one the other day where I flopped quad Qs - A on the turn, I get a call. A on the river and I think it's payday time. Put in a biggish bet, opponent thinks for ages while typing in the chat box about how lucky I've got to have outdrawn his trip Qs... Eventually folds and keeps going on about it. I posted the hand history in the chat box in the end, just to show them up as the liar they are...!

I don't remember but quite often, flopped quad K's last home game i played, and got paid buy a FH, never seem to get paid in mtt

3333 flop, slow played it, he hit straight flush. Too amusing to be painful.

Got my pokerplayer mag today and there is an article in there on page 18 about a guy who flopped quad Tens and got beat by a straight flush draw for $67k+.....now THAT is SICK!!

yep i can remember flopping a str8 flush once in a tourney and got paid off from a King high flush.

 held  3s  5s , flop was  2s  4s  6s , couldnt believe my luck , think matey had  Ks  9s

LOADS of times, flopping quads is rare but not that rare. I think I flopped a straight flush once also, or I flopped a OESFD it then turned it, will check poker tracker later.

Never had a Royal Flush though, had 2 against me in Omaha and 1 against me in Hold Em

as for the odds question i think its actually 400ish/1 to make quads by the river. not to flop them. i might be wrong though?

flopping a straight flush is stupidly rare though. no idea what the odds are on that but i've only managed it once. with the old 10-8 of hearts. no-one else held a heart of course. ::)

I flopped a royal once and had 2 people betting into me.

I've flopped quads too, dunno how many times though.

A9..flopped 999, got paid nicely by a guy with pocked 5's after my check - call to his slow play yum yum ;D
