Couple of days ago i couldn't access my MSN Explorer- keeps attempting to sign in but not actually doing it.

 Now I cant access my hotmail account and a couple of other sites, like Ebay, at all no matter which browser I use.

I am completely PC illiterate so an help would be appreciated before i launch it out the window... ;technophobe;   ;surrender;

ave you got cookies enabled?

have you adjusted your firewall or any of secuitry software recently?

Haven't adjusted or changed anthing.

i would assume that the problem lies somewhere in the software but as i dont use any of those sites i am unsure

its likely that somthing on your pc security has updated and changed a setting somewhere along the lines

Do you have any anti virus software or firewalls installed? Do you have peerguardian installed? How do you connect to the internet? What is your ISP? When did this start? What programs have you installed recently? What exactly happens when you visit the sites? List all the sites that don't work...

You could do a system restore to before it was hapennig, if it's a software issue on your PC then that should sort it out.
