I know its a longshot, but I thought I would try...

In my younger days living abroad we used to keep chickens!!

I have two chickens at home already, I don't have space for 13,000 more I'm afraid.

I was once following a truck when a crate fell off and burst open spilling 5 chickens on to the road. These chickens didn't even have the sense to duck as cars whizzed past, they just stood there blinking in the light.

I started to gather them up, (they didn't run away) and managed to grab the 3 that didn't get run over. Back at home, I made them a makeshift pen and turned them loose, they were the sorriest sight you could ever wish to see. They had almost no feathers, they didn't know how to scratch the soil or how to peck corn from the floor, they would only eat and drink from a hopper, they didn't even know how to walk.

Slowly, over the course of a few weeks, they started to look and behave like real chickens, and after a couple of months they were clucking and laying like mad. It was one of the most satisfying things I ever saw.

The resemblance to the game of golf is quite striking.

You take your "club" and grip the shaft giving it a swing and tug at the same time - if you are lucky you don't pull the ball as this would put you at a severe disadvantage.

If you pull off a smooth stroke the results can be most impressive............

although most people just end up rushing thru their downstroke and lifting their head at the wrong time.....

Must make sure to follow through on the up stroke aswell. Best way to practise is to swing your club back and forth all the way till the desired action is achieved!
