I spent quite a lot of time in America, about 2 months every year, coz we have a house out there in Davenport, Florida, and i have an uncle and cousin in NY, and another uncle in Naples. I think Lazaroonie is harsh in criticising American TV. I find it fantastic, they have about 120 channels and always a lot of poker on, and comedy programmes/sitcoms. I agree with the calls on butter, bacon + especially BREAD. I hate the sweet stuff and it does my head in coz i love my sandwiches. I always say i wish warburtons would open a factory out there. Some of the TV shows are actually quite good. I like some of the comedy, and their history/discovery channel stuff (which nobody watches) can be excellent. Its just the constant adverts for arbys/kfc/popeyes/red lobster, followed by an advert for some drug which will ease your "bloated" feeling. Try eating less junk food, that might help. This is followed by an advert for another wonder drug which will regulate your system, but has a list of side effects that would make joseph mengele blush. Then its back to the "try our new supersize honey roast king size wendy burger...with a side order of ranitidine...". i see a pattern emerging here. Title: Re: Keep it in America....
