Title: Re: massive over bet Post by: doubleup on March 17, 2007, 03:48:38 AM No I think a massive overbet would be a million times the pot, this is a fairly standard overbet. Title: Re: massive over bet Post by: Ironside on March 17, 2007, 03:52:12 AM you think a 31x the pot bet is not a massive overbet?
ok would you call this standard overbet? Title: Re: massive over bet Post by: doubleup on March 17, 2007, 04:02:44 AM The secret of micro stakes is to make your opponent curious enough to call the *massive* overbet i.e. a million times the pot. This can only be achieved by constantly sniping at them with standard overbets of around 100 times the pot - occasionally showing down bluffs and setting them up for the massive coup where they call your million times the pot bet when you have the nuts.

Although my first thoughts are that this is a bluff to entice you into calling a *massive* overbet later. Title: Re: massive over bet Post by: Ironside on March 17, 2007, 04:29:26 AM you still havent said if you would call You didn't ask this originally - I'm a bit drunk so will have to think about this and respond later. Then you can play poker like its never been played before. Title: Re: massive over bet Post by: Sunday8pm on March 19, 2007, 09:25:13 PM do these stakes exist? lol

Seriously? So like $1 would be a huge bankroll for them stakes? Title: Re: massive over bet Post by: Ironside on March 19, 2007, 10:01:05 PM max buy in on blonde is 5$
when blonde moved over i wanted to try the software out as i wasnt a fan of tribecca so i am playing with what i had on blonde at the time which was only 40$ so bankroll means i have to play that level its not much different from the 25/50c i am playing on stars or the 1/2 2/4 that i have played in the past on stars just the roi is a little higher but it takes longer to build a roll Title: Re: massive over bet Post by: Sunday8pm on March 19, 2007, 10:25:24 PM Texas Hold'em NL $0,000.01/$0,000.02
But surely not?! so if my brain works that out correctly $1 is 5000 bb? Title: Re: massive over bet Post by: Ironside on March 19, 2007, 10:40:26 PM no 1c/2c
