Title: Re: MANSION DRAW RESULTS 19/03/07 Post by: CrestOfaWave on March 19, 2007, 11:08:58 AM Thanks again. Has been worth playing some cash games to get in this weekly rake draw. Only 350 players in the 11am comp. That is a rather large overlay. GL to all Blondietes once more.

Tuff fish would be spitting his root beer all over the keyboard. Due to a technical problem, the tournament is being cancelled. PantherTheCat: wtf PantherTheCat: knew i should have slept in hebalf: tour over what? PantherTheCat: hckckchckhck Title: Re: MANSION DRAW RESULTS 19/03/07 Post by: sledge13 on March 19, 2007, 11:20:17 AM Mansion should shut the poker room down.....
Title: Re: MANSION DRAW RESULTS 19/03/07 Post by: CrestOfaWave on March 19, 2007, 11:23:53 AM Cant believe it was a technical fault today. All the cash tables were still operational. Feel sorry for the guys who satellited in to play this event. PR Machine needs to be addressed.
Title: Re: MANSION DRAW RESULTS 19/03/07 Post by: Colchester Kev on March 19, 2007, 11:26:43 AM Looks like there's a lynch mob ridden into town .....
we are all over 18 and as such have reached the legal age to make grown up decisions regarding how we react to todays events on Mansion. Until we know the full facts of todays "Technical Problems" there isnt much we can do. As far as blondes deal goes, we have submitted this weeks names and thats as far as we go. Lets hope it is all as they say it is, and to be honest, i cant see it being anything other than a serious "technical Problem" ... as the negative PR that they are receiving now is exactly what they would have expected if they just pulled the plug. Time will tell. Title: Re: MANSION DRAW RESULTS 19/03/07 Post by: Graham C on March 19, 2007, 11:29:59 AM I'm not fussed, sure it's not ideal but if they want to give me free entry as they have been doing, I'm happy to play on the site again for another week. Cashed in one of them last week so I'm very happy at the moment.
Could do with winning it though ;) hmmm, may have pizza for lunch Title: Re: MANSION DRAW RESULTS 19/03/07 Post by: CrestOfaWave on March 19, 2007, 11:58:04 AM Looks like there's a lynch mob ridden into town ..... we are all over 18 and as such have reached the legal age to make grown up decisions regarding how we react to todays events on Mansion. Time will tell. to be honest I think the cancellation of todays tourney might have made everyone 200$ as in the Mansion terms (pasted somewhere else) it says the mansion guarantee is included in the refunds. If they do that I bet ya most people won't complain too much, Title: Re: MANSION DRAW RESULTS 19/03/07 Post by: Horneris on March 19, 2007, 12:52:17 PM True. I wouldnt complain then.
Maybe i over reacted at first, but i had planned my sleeping patterns around it. Title: Re: MANSION DRAW RESULTS 19/03/07 Post by: totalise on March 19, 2007, 12:57:59 PM poker players sure are never happy.. they offer a sick overlay tourney for months on end, and the second theres a problem with one the dissenters crawl out from the woodwork and call foul play. If they were going to cancel one to save the overlay, they sure as shit wouldn't make it the first one on the new time zone, for what should be obvious reasons.
Title: Re: MANSION DRAW RESULTS 19/03/07 Post by: The_nun on March 19, 2007, 01:00:17 PM I have said nothing bad but i am disssapointed as I am on lates again this week and was looking 4ward to playing a decent game b4 work. Oh well there's always another day.

Title: Re: MANSION DRAW RESULTS 19/03/07 Post by: matt674 on March 19, 2007, 03:03:28 PM I've heard that the technical problems were down to the Australian market rather than here in the UK.
Apparently the Mansion Australian software had the 6's showing as 9's on the screen and the 9's showing as 6's, they had no alternative but to stop the tourney :D Title: Re: MANSION DRAW RESULTS 19/03/07 Post by: tikay on March 19, 2007, 04:00:44 PM I've heard that the technical problems were down to the Australian market rather than here in the UK. Title: Re: MANSION DRAW RESULTS 19/03/07 Post by: Zebediah on March 19, 2007, 04:31:41 PM I have heard that people asking online help are being told that they will get their entry fee back plus 2 free entries on top.
Gutted, I was itching to enter with that overplay, but explaining what I was doing to my boss would be a little awkward. Boss- "What is that on your bloody PC" Me - "My ticket out of here ****face!" Title: Re: MANSION DRAW RESULTS 19/03/07 Post by: Zebediah on March 19, 2007, 04:32:15 PM Thanks again for the great deal btw!
Title: Re: MANSION DRAW RESULTS 19/03/07 Post by: brummieboy on March 19, 2007, 06:17:20 PM Just got up after a powernap, buyin back + two free entries after this moirnings problems.
Congratulations Mansion you deserve a lot of respect for this offer. Title: Re: MANSION DRAW RESULTS 19/03/07 Post by: CrestOfaWave on March 20, 2007, 03:09:32 PM ditto brummieboy's sentiment.
You get the 2 free entries if you play in the next 4-5 days. So wd Mansion - this is how PR should work if they want to build brand loyalty GL at the tables. |
