Title: AK v blind Post by: TightPaulFolds on March 19, 2007, 03:06:18 PM 1/1 cash game, Average stack £200.
Hand one: Player X raises with Kh Ks, reraised by Ad Tc, both end up all in £150 pot, Ad Tc hits two pair. Player X buys back in for £150. Does not look at cards, stating 'if KK isn't good enough, nothing is', pushes all in £150. Everyone folds round to you on BB with £140, you have Kh Ac. What do you do? I saw it called in a cash game, never been sure if I'd take the plunge. Title: Re: AK v blind Post by: WellChief on March 19, 2007, 03:27:11 PM Of course you have to call every time. If you don't then the game is probably outwith your bankroll.

Yep, probably a bankroll question. Chances against him having a pair....I suppose you have to be sure he hasn't seen his cards, this is a 'move' I've seen done with AA KK. They must look at those cards realllly fast. Title: Re: AK v blind Post by: Muahahahaha on March 20, 2007, 02:39:51 AM Call

He can have you dominated with 2 hands, you could have him dominated with 22 hands. And even when you dont youre a 55-60% (???) favourite. |
