Title: AK v blind
Post by: TightPaulFolds on March 19, 2007, 03:06:18 PM
1/1 cash game, Average stack £200.

Hand one: Player X raises with  Kh Ks, reraised by  Ad Tc, both end up all in £150 pot,  Ad Tc hits two pair.
Player X buys back in for £150. Does not look at cards, stating 'if KK isn't good enough, nothing is', pushes all in £150. Everyone folds round to you on BB with £140, you have  Kh Ac.
What do you do? I saw it called in a cash game, never been sure if I'd take the plunge.

Of course you have to call every time.  If you don't then the game is probably outwith your bankroll.

Yep, probably a bankroll question. Chances against him having a pair....
I suppose you have to be sure he hasn't seen his cards, this is a 'move' I've seen done with AA KK. They must look at those cards realllly fast.

Are you serious?

Chuck your car keys in there aswell.

He can have you dominated with 2 hands, you could have him dominated with 22 hands.
And even when you dont youre a 55-60% (???) favourite.
