Title: Internet Connection Post by: Sark79 on March 19, 2007, 05:48:24 PM I was wondering if there is a way to stop connecting to another wireless router? ( not sure if this is the correct IT terminology :D ) as you are probably aware, I am crap with computers.
When I fire up my laptop, it keeps connecting me through a ZyXEL? . I have a Belkin. It must be a neighbour. Can I click something to stop this happening? many thanks Title: Re: Internet Connection Post by: AndrewT on March 19, 2007, 05:52:00 PM In your wireless connecting settings (either the Windows one or the Belkin software, depending on which you use) there will be a setting to set the preferred order in which to connect to available networks.
You seem to have this other network set higher than yours - remove it and you should be AOK. Or you could just cancel your connection and use your neighbour's for free, if he's going to be ignorant about wirelesss security settings. :) Title: Re: Internet Connection Post by: Ironside on March 19, 2007, 05:56:17 PM goto
