I'm trying to put a list of 40 Guarenteed Floor Fillers for a new band. i've got about 30 so far

What songs can you thing of that are nailed on winners at a wedding / party?

For weddings and that you're looking to cover all eras.

So you won't go wrong with Beatles, Elvis, ABBA, Duran Duran, Robbie Williams, some Britpop and modern 'good pop' (Britney, Justin, Girls Aloud).

Though if you were doing the music at the wedding of one of my mates this year, you couldn't do better than just play She Sells Sanctuary by The Cult over and over again.

What have you got already?

Is there such a thing? Don't think i've ever been to a wedding where the floor has been "filled" apart from by 5 year old kids who discover that the wedding costumes are great for sliding from one end to the other............... :D

I worked in hotel banqueting for several years and saw a lot of good bands get close.

I've left the list so far on the work PC so I'll pop it up tomorrow lunchtime. I have a few of the songs suggested so far and I've added a couple from the stream so far. I was going to say I didn't want to go quite as cheesey as the Conga but I then remembered I already have YMCA and the Tiomewarp so maybe I already have gone that cheesey.

Not an ideal wedding song.. but i agree, it will fill the floor at a wedding, 21st and even a funeral.....
