a massive overbet like that in a situation like this ussually represents a lower overpair of some sort.

Without having any info on your table image or what your oppo has done on his SB and when calling a raise pre-flop (does he always lead out? Is he weak? etc.) I would call this.

yes JJ/1010 is quite possible but i see this a fair bit with a flopped set at this stage of a tournament. if i'm comfortable on the table and have good reads on important players then i fold with no read. unless you're already in the money or he's been pushing everyone around to get those chips.

9 10 of spades would be an absolute monster hand here

How many left? Where do the payouts start.

I really wouldn't use VPIP PFR stats in tournaments - they don't really mean anything except in the very early stages and obviously a player will play differently later depending on his stack size and how near the money we are.  The key info I'd be looking for is how this player got his stack and has he been very aggressive since he got it?  If you don't know this do you get the impression he is trying to bully?  i.e has he been calling and pushing ppl off on the flop before this?

That makes him 55 / 45 favourite, but if he's pushing with Axs, or an up & down straight, it's even closer.

Then again if he's pushing with KK or QQ, you're a massive fave.

Surely the call is the move ?

He done me then.  I would've thought trips would have been a much slower play.

I fell for it hook line & sinker.
