Title: 2nd biggest in Europe? Post by: thetank on March 29, 2007, 10:56:40 AM I've read the PaddyPower Irish open expects to be the biggest tournament in Europe to date, expecting six or seven hundred runners.
If it makes it, whose record will it break? To date, what has been the largest live tournament in Europe (in terms of field size) and how many runners did it have? Title: Re: 2nd biggest in Europe? The Paddy Power Irish Open may well get more runners, though not as big a Prize Pool. It is, however, the biggest Guaranteed Prize Pool I can recall in Europe - €2,000,000! Bring it on, Dublin.
