Title: Variance and when it Varies.
Post by: Newmanseye on April 02, 2007, 03:12:20 AM
Has anyone looked at their stats and swwn that their variance increases at the peak weekend times ?

Is this true or an urban myth amongst online players?

I was having a conversation witha mate who believes that the weekend is a terrible time to play due to the increased Variance ( bollox I say ), although i have been wrong many times before.

Can anyone offer a unique opinion on this ?

Gotta say....I love playing on Saturday nights overnight. More people playing after they've been to the pub means more people are going to call when they shouldn't.

However, I've just checked my stats and the variance is pretty much the same for every day (not every day, but every day, if you know what I mean). My level of profit is slightly higher but nothing outrageous.

So, it's an urban myth in my book....but I'll still keep playing on Saturday nights hoping to play the drunk folk.

Strongest days are Sunday, and Monday.

Saying that...................

I don't really see a pattern as such, if I'm feeling hot on a Saturday then so be it. If I'm Crap on a Saturday, then I'm crap on a Saturday.
