Title: apat vegas
Post by: Ironside on April 03, 2007, 07:43:28 PM
now on the schedule the apat even in vegas is still pencilled in for the 18th-20th of july

now i am hoping to play in this event but the nearer and nearer we get the price is going up and up

when i first checked out flights the price was £320 return its now £720+ return

ok so the event might be put back but this type of event needs alot of planning for amateurs

and not the 4-5 weeks we normally get

i was planning on paying for the flight for someone that would make sure i dont end up killing myself

by not eating etc whic i often forget i need to do when at a casino which isnt good for a diabetic

but if the events still in july this will proberly be out of my price range

now hopefully the time of the event will be put back to later in the year

giving time for people to win seats i imagine that the cost of the seats will be more than £75 to mean than winning will more than pay the expenses

and with expensse put in i would imagine that most amateurs from the UK wishing to travel would be trying to win sats into it

i am looking forward to this event as it will be my first trip to vegas on my learning curve to winning the 2010 wsop main event

now i understand that you guys at apat have other jobs and organsing one event at a time is often the best way

but surely we need to know about vegas ASAP if its going to take place this year

and to a lesser extent the european event which again will require a little more planning than a trip to birmingham or carriff

Already looking forward to this!!!

For cheapness I have found klm and American Airlines to be muchos cheapness however there is usually a stopover stateside (and one in amsterdam for klm)..

Maybe we'll hear soon from APAT :)

i dont quite know how this will work. Will it be predominantly american entries, or british people taking themselves over there, etc etc

You going to Vegas Matt?  Funny, you've never mentioned it before.  ;whistle;
