It was announced yesterday that Victor Chandler have lanched a 24h / 7 day a week poker radio station available via the Internet.

The press release says...

Now I need to go get some headphones... I'm pushing it enough being on the forum all the time at work - playing a poker radio channel would maybe be a bit far  :)

Old news, they've had this for 2-3 weeks. 

yeah i think it launched on Sept 1, and its pretty crap.

I might have a listen to this later, i usually listen to cd's while on the PC, but a bit of poker related radio could be of interest...

24/7 of a 90 minute programme looped, I don't know whether they have changed it, but it got bloody annoying after a while.

It did launch at the beginning of September, and it was really trial and error at the time.

Flushy - saying it is crap, isn't very nice, host Kelly put her heart and soul into this, and she listened to our comments and changed it accordingly.

I will be the first to admit that the Poker Tips are very boring, but the music has been fantastic.  VC also plug Poker4Charity at regular intervals and that to me i fantastic.

Maybe I should email your comments to Kelly and see how long you have your chat for Mr Fish!!!!    ~:

oh no, please dont, what ever would i do without my chat. All those hours spent in the lobby will be gone....oh no wait i play on the site i dont chat on it!!

I said its pretty crap, which i stand by. I was approached to write some stuff to go on there before it launched and since it has gone live i have decided not to participate because i didnt want to be associated with it.


This is my personal opinion, if i want to listen to music i will use my ipod, if i want to listen to poor poker advice...Ironside is never far away!

Flushy thinks tact is something nothern thespians have to learn  ;D

I've listened to this a few times and as I am usually crap at breaking out and listening to new types of music, it's pretty good - I like the mix they have. the poker tips are a bit boring, but I'd listen more if the presenter was a bit more enthusiastic!

Flushy will never know the meaning of tact, and he should also know how protective I am of my friends....

Red-Dog you should know that me and trace are friends. As we both are with Kelly.

I offered my opinion on it, when challanged i expanded on my reasoning, i hope it does improve for kelly more than anyone else!

Thanks for your comments regarding the radio... and yes thank  you too Fishy, I do understand that the radio isnt for everyones taste at the moment, As im sure you all know it has just started running and it will improve over time like everything does. The best way to make this improve would be to email on radio@vcpoker.com with your ideas of what you want us to have on the show! after all the radio is for you the poker players.. If you dont like something tell me and I'll change it or vice versa.
oh and fishy just you wait till the next p4c you better be prepared to lose your money!  ;)
