Title: Aintree tomorrow Post by: ThinkerJE on April 11, 2007, 11:02:05 PM Great racing at Aintree tomorrow, here are the ones I fancy (so certain LAYS then)...
Mighty Man to reverse Cheltenham form with the Drever in the 1st, loves the track & the ground. State Of Play in the Betfair Bowl, maybe one race too many for the Exotic Dancer. Punjabi in the 4yo hurdle. Was travelling better than ever at Cheltenham but did not get up the hill. The flat track will suit and I fancy its speed will be too much for the rest. Drombeag to do the Cheltenham / Aintree Foxhunter double. Kit Carson is a handicap plot job in the Red Rum Chase, Swan has kept the novice off the track for 220 days with this race in mind, should bolt up off a featherweight. Bedlam Boy EW at a big price in the next. The trainer has had all 3 runners finished placed in this race and only sends them if up to the job. And finally another handicap to the irsih in the last with Marhaba Million carrying my pennies in a tricky race to end with. All the best to those having a bet. Title: Re: Aintree tomorrow Post by: boldie on April 12, 2007, 09:05:34 AM The way Drever has been working at home he will not be denied.
To be honest I hate aintree as I can't see past the horses that won at cheltenham yet some of them completely fail to deliver. Exotic dancer should hack up as should Katchit (the most exciting hurdler I've seen for a while) Drever is mybet of the day though. Title: Re: Aintree tomorrow Post by: Horneris on April 12, 2007, 11:31:13 AM Mighty Man + State of Play to reverse form on theyre favourite track.
+ the double. Title: Re: Aintree tomorrow Post by: Karabiner on April 12, 2007, 11:55:26 AM The way Drever has been working at home he will not be denied. This Aintree fixture has been moved so that the horses now have four week's rest since Cheltenham. There was only three weeks previously. Katchit is my nap today, just got on @ 2.32 on Betfair The first two races are fascinating, but too close for me to call. Title: Re: Aintree tomorrow Post by: booder on April 12, 2007, 12:03:04 PM small bet on Bambi De L'Oorme 4.20 Aintree
Absolute Power in the 5.30 has attracted a lot of support this morning. in from 100/1 to as short as 28/1 Title: Re: Aintree tomorrow Post by: boldie on April 12, 2007, 12:17:18 PM I'm on drever @3-1 (betfred) best odds guaranteed...I reckon he's a shoe in if Mighty man isn't on his very very best form..and, like I said, Drever has been working like an animal possesed this week..the horse is in fantastic form and remember that even when he won at cheltenham he wasn't jumping well at all...if he jumps like he can hhe is too big at 3-1

Will take a bit of the 4-1 aswell if it doesn't drift out more. People are only backing Black Jack Ketchum on reputation (interesting article on the racing post website about this) I can't see black Jack winning this (which probably means he'll hack up by 10 lenghts the way I've been betting them) Title: Re: Aintree tomorrow Post by: totalise on April 12, 2007, 12:44:09 PM I've got a fun 5,500/1 accumulator working, and i think its pretty much a cert
