well for those of us that are ooking for a more relaxing evening i will be arriving in the days in at lunch time i will sit in bar babysitting the kids till they head out for the teenybopping i was thinking that us fossils could find a nice stand up comedian or live act to listen to so i can save my singing till saturday night

anyone any ideas

Keep dithering about whether to come up on the Friday night.  As it is, I'm planning on coming up on Saturday sans hangover, but if I change my mind, fossil night sounds good (minus the swinging) :)

i cant decide what to do.as im 26 apparently i fall between both age groups.lol.
i had intended on playing the 75 freezeout but i think the night out will be a good way to get to know other blondes.however im not a big fan of going clubbing so if i go out i will more than likely retreat to the casino when everyone else hits the club.
ill decide when i get there i think.

I don't get to luton till about 10 friday night - plan to prop up the bar in the casino till shutting, then at the hotel till breakfast.

For real fossils, I wll be hosting a cribbage and crochet evening on the Friday at my abode 15 minute drive from venue

Looks like I'll be there on the Friday now - just waiting for confirmation from Tantrum that she's up for it.  I (we) will be getting there sometime after 7 I would imagine.

Drinking and chatting would do me, but will go along with whatever, as long as it's nothing too energetic or expensive :)

Oh well, and i had planned a women only pvc wrestling contest in a ring full of diamonds.... never mind.

decided im going to play the friday night freezeout,a few people i know are coming down for it.if i get knocked out early i will be straight to the bar.can anyone tell me what time it starts please?
i will be in the bar at days inn from about 5.30 till i need to go to the casino so ill see alot of you there.

Nice meal friday at around 7pm followed by a trip to the casino to get well and truly mullered then see if I can get out of bed in time to go abuse the miners at the footy Saturday morning :)

well no one offered a meal anywhere,lol.
i am very fickle and my mind can easily be changed.but at the moment thats the plan

What is the friday night comp? that sounds like a good plan still get to get drunk when i get knocked out within 10-15 mins :)

75 freezeout,with the time were getting in we could still meet for drinks with the rest for a few hours.drunk before a comp starts,ive never done that before ::)

i think the plan is a pulsating pasta but that might be sunday night in which case we will certainly be eating something around dinner time as i need to be maintained then maybe breakfast in the casino after laughing at all the obessed poker players and kiv falling over drunk

same as me at 27 im definetly not a fossil but my days of going clubbing finished a few years ago.Anyway when i did used to go clubbing i never remember luton being touted around as a clubbing hotspot lol

We are going to play the friday comp and get drunk in the casino.

I will be getting to luton around 4.30pm so i think i will unpack, grab some dinner and have a few drinks before the comp starts.

Very strange in Luton - at the clubs the boys are young and the women a lot older - my sort of age......definitely grab a granny in Luton  >:(

How about those of us that arent playing the comp friday night assemble in the casino at 7ish ... then head of to one of those  chinese buffet restaurants or something ... then back to the casino to get plastered and have some sit and goes.... ??

And leave the kids to throw up in the streets and get ripped off in overpriced poncy bars with music that no one can sing along to :D

Everytime someone comes up with an idea it sounds good now this sounds a little better than the £75 freezeout cuz its got bar,food,bar,and some poker in it + my m8 would rather some sit and go's to the freeze out as he is a little broke so sounds good cya's there.

I've been trying for ages to make up my mind whether to play the £75 f/o on Friday. I really wanted to play it but it is a bit out of my normal range for tournaments.

But yesterday I received a pay rise, starting from this month - so problem solved - the tournament it is. :D

I'm probably gonna play the tourny.... is it self deal or dealer dealt, and anyone know the starting chips?
