As part of Blue Square's Unusual Suspects we are running an online league from the 8th - 26th of October.  The winner of the league will be invited to join the Unusual Suspects as a full competitor from Round 2 onwards.

As requested on another thread, we will be running a book on who will win the online league. If you would like to be quoted, please add your Blue Square Poker screename to this thread and we will be sure to include you in the market.

ifm, although i work for blue square, i do not abuse the forum. i am an active forumite and probably talk about betfair more than i do the company i work for. its been said by tikay in the past that some kinds of information which may also have a commercial implication are ok and unless anything has changed, that is all i was doing. at worst this is the acceptable face of spam and in any case i would say this is more topical than spam. if you read the other thread relating to the unusual suspects you will see that ericstoner asked specifically if there could be a betting market on our online league. rather than lose it in that thread i thought it would be appropriate to start a separate one so as to enable anyone else who may wish to be quoted to have the opportunity to see that they could be. real spam is made by people who are purely abusing a forum and offer nothing else, not contributing to the community. that is not what i am doing.

Lost a few chips then 2 of us on 5800 1 guy cutoff raises, i call with QJs SB calls also on 5800.

Flop Ad2s8s He bets 1k i flat call and the SB folds.

Turn is Kc, he only bets 1k, i flat call.

River is a blank he checks i push in for 3k, he calls naturally with AK....of SPADES! lol, could i have been in a worse spot!

I made the final of a STT on Blue Square earlie.

I came 2nd in 4 STT's in a row, HU STT's that is.

Yes At-It, I will be there Monday, Live Updating. Would not miss it for the WORLD, the thing is packed with blondeites, the whole site is gonna want to watch it. Not looked forward to an update so much for ages - it helps to know everyones names! I have invited a second Updater, a newbie Updater, but if they cannot make it, I am sure there wil be plenty of help on hand - I gather it's 10/11 the pair on Flushy & At-It busting out first, so they can help.

The Unusual Suspects odds have now been updated following last night's first event, which was won by Simon Nowab. Odds will be available until 7.15pm tomorrow, when event 2 starts.  The site has also been updated now with mug shots of the contestants and a report on last night's event - www.bluesq.com/suspects
