Did anyone else see it?! Just watched the replay now from last night and he lays down KK 3 handed, Q7 on a AQ7 board, A9 on a 3 9 3 flop when very short stacked and then call-folded the rest of there chips until he was down till 1600 with blinds at 200/400 where he went all in with 49 sooted and ran into Aces. Barry and Nic were in shock and were just in silence for long spells. Im not sure if you saw it tikay, and it might seem a little far-fetched, but this happened all within about 3 minutes and it was all over sooooo quick it was untrue.
I hope im wrong ( as im no conspiracy theorist ) but i have never seen anything like that in the 2/3 years i have been attempting to play this great game! Kev No, I never saw it, buit nothing surprises me in poker, we can & do see the strangest plays. Given how much they were playing for, does "collusion" (a really common problem in Poker) really make sense in this case? Was an MTT jobbie and it was something to do with the WSOP and progressing to the next stage! Like i say, i only caught the end, so im not sure of whats what. Not a regular watcher so wouldn't know the ins and outs of it all tbh mate.
Blinds at 200/400 ... UTG raises to 2400 with KK. Folded to BB who pushes for 6k total and the KK folds. Then a hand or 2 later, there's a raise UTG ( by the bloke who pushed for 6k! ) with K5o and the KK man calls with Q7. Flop comes A Q 7 ... we see a bet, a raise and and all in and the Q7 folds too damn quickly for my liking to the same player. The A9 hand happens a little later and then he just donks off the 4/5k he has left be calling the flop bets and folded to a continuation bet on the turn. IMO it totally stunk! this is a big problem on gutshot sight and one of the reasons i dont play it anymore. i have seen with my own eyes upto 6/7 players all sitting next to each other in there internet room at the club playing as a team relaying hands and information to each other. this may or may not be the case here but certainly by the way you've put it somethings not right! Kev can & will make his own mind up! that wasn't my suggestion tony, i was just portraying my experience. and on more than one occassion i may add. no odds to me, i choose not to play on gutshot, my choice and as you say kev can and will maake up his own mind. kev asked for reasons for the obvious softplay/collusion that he saw i just offered my thoughts on it whether im right or wrong doesnt matter, they were my thoughts and i thought id share them on a discussion board. in no way was i looking to influence kev as its no odds to me whether he plays on gutshot or not. If the Gutshot Forum Boys get hold of this thread, & we have been less than fair, they'll slap me good & proper. If someone goes on Gutshot or Hendon Mob & makes similar allegations about blonde players, I'd like to think someone there would do what I did - give it "balance". I'd be very hurt if they did not. As for inthebelly, there s not collusion in the internet room and to make such a comment is ludicrous. Also making a statement thats why you don't play the site....it is on the microgaming network and that has some 10,000 online players logged on at any one time......hardly the gutshot internet room all playing on there.
