I started a thread once warning lady drivers to watch out for unmarked police cars, and saying to ring another number other than 999.   I got slatttttttttttted!!  Last time I try and help women.

If I ever come up with another poker/terrorism analogy I think I'll keep it to myself...

I have a slight twist on this.  I have regrets about a post that Tighty once made (stupid camera phones with connectivity to the internet!)

I quite often realise that something I've written might not be entirely appropriate.


But then, I post it anyway....

Was that 112. Which is the same as 999  ;whistle; It's available as that is the number in Europe for emergency services and people might dial the wrong one. I got an email about unmarked police cars and dialing 112, misinformation all over the place.

I once posted something about 70% of women having brains half the size of men and went on to say women can't play poker either. Obviously I swsh I had never posted such stupid comments.

I posted on another forum, and I told the truth regarding a comp and a player (the post was edited by a moderator/friend of his, and made me look bad), ended up losing my Job as cardroom manager at the Broadway, because he was "influencial"? Don't regret the post, but regret the outcome.

would have looked into a wrongful dismissal case if your post was edited and led to you getting the sack. I would also have put the influencial players name and circumstances on every forum I could find.

Originally I did do that, but was deleted on all, given up on it TBH, i am a firm believer in Karma. The guys not worth it.

I walked out after they told me i was going to get a verbal warning for it, so they didnt officially sack me, I walked out in protest rather than getting a black mark against my name

Thtas really bad if it was deleted off other forums aswell, the whole point is to say what you want to not be censored (unless it has swear words of course). I thought that was what forums and the internet in general was there for.
