Its the long term payback from playing the game, worked out by working out the odds of being dealt each hand times the payback for them (an expected value calculation).

There's two catches to this - you have to play perfect strategy (which isn't easy) and you need to play lots of hands as much of the payback requires you hitting the Royal Flushes.  However, they're some of the best house games you can play in a casino (if you can find the full pay machines).

Thanks to Gatso and Flushy for saving me the job of marking the papers and giving running updates on the scores today.  It was a great help to me (Gatso seems to be carving himself a 'niche' for taking on this role!)
