Title: Computer help Post by: RED-DOG on April 30, 2007, 12:04:19 PM Just lately, my lappy has been disconnecting from the router for a few seconds. it only does it once a day, and usually within the first hour.
If Mrs Red is using her lappy at the same time, she doesn't disconnect. Any ideas? Title: Re: Computer help Post by: booder on April 30, 2007, 12:13:24 PM use mrs Red's lappy

If its just the once early and then reconnects and stays reconnected then I wouldnt worry too much although it may be the start of your wireless adaptor starting to wane. Try a new adaptor if its really bothersome

Or as a last resort, buy one.. PC card: http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/120669 £10 USB: http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/115832 £9 You'll need to go into device manager and disable your current wirless (or if there is a switch / button on your laptop to enable/disable the wireless use that). Then install the new adapter like the instructions say. Is your current wireless built into the laptop or is it a card or usb? Title: Re: Computer help Post by: RED-DOG on May 07, 2007, 10:52:11 AM As soon as I mentioned the chisel it stopped playing up, then this morning it said "Come on if you think you're hard enough!"
