Title: Any blondes playing in the Ladbrokes European Ladies Championship?
Post by: Mango99 on May 01, 2007, 09:24:58 PM
Hey all

I've sponsored 3 ladies (Lucy Rokach, and two strong members of a local poker school I run) into The Ladbrokes European Ladies Championship. Are there any blondes attending also?

I'm heading off for the party at 8pm on Friday, then going to watch the filming from midday on Saturday..

Good luck (but not too much good luck!) to any blondes that are playing!! :)

Look casting off the nice bloke image for just a second. I do not understand the concept of this tourney. Poker can be played by anyone against anyone. Why are there exclusions on this tourney. Does this mean that we should have tourneys for blokes under the height of 5'6" because they might feel intimidated at the table. Better still a comfortably seated 8 handed tourney but you have to be over 16 stone to play.

Womens tournaments are a nonsense because the women playing in them are as good as man I know anyway.........until women wake up and tell people to stick womens only tournies they will continue to be viewed as poker victims

Good luck to all those that play. You have your view and I have mine

Lol, I'm not sure anyone has come out and said that "ladies-only tournaments are the only way forward!!".. The main reason for me sponsoring the 3 players is it seems like a good value tourney, and also the winner gets the added value of a Ladbrokes Poker Million ticket! Bargain!! :)

In order to get the organisers to listen to your views i think we have all agreed on Blonde that you have to vote with your feet. I suggest Snatty that you refuse to play this tourney on principle.   ;D
