i tried to load it then i realised my audio on PC is broke

so going to go for early night and turn on lappy

It was really good coverage, do they plan to do that for all the wsop circuit events?

Bluff is doing this for about 20 final tables live from this years WSOP, this is a very big deal, I thought the 1st one went great!!!!

Surely this can be used to cheat/take advantage of.
Say your mate is watching it live on a laptop, seeing all the raises/reraises ,which player folds what to a reraise.
Then at break he fills player x in with the details, this is invaluble information available to players whilst the tourny is in progress.Im not sure I like the idea but that said the coverage was very good :)

I'm guessing that it would be the same as the EPT coverage on pokerstars - you watch the tourney as live but you dont see any of the hole cards. The only time the cards are seen online are when in a showdown and there wouldnt be any advantage to be gained there are the information is there for all to see.

Granted when you are playing on another table you can get the information of who plays what passed on to you by someone watching it on the internet - but then you can get the same information by someone watching the live updates on blonde ;)

wow, seriously? I tried the link three times last night and couldn't get anything.

I can understand them showing it when its on live tv - more often than not its being filmed in a studio where no outside information can get in to the remaining players.

Do they make you sign an agreement before you play the tourney that says you agree to this? Personally i'm not sure i'd want all that information being available to everyone to pass about during breaks.

id had a few beers last night but i agree with you, maybe someone can confirm hands were shown?

do they force everyone to show by making them agree to it before the tourney?

Do they allow "ipods" to be worn during the tourney? I can easily see someone wearing a set of headphones making it look like an ipod and having information being fed to them constantly while the tourney is in progress.

I was more thinking just about info being passed at the breaks but i would imagine where large amounts of money is involved cheats find ways.

If its only delayed by a few minutes it still doesnt stop general player information being passed on at the breaks.

from what i hear during the wsop the prodution team were passing on the info themselves to the top pros so atleast this way everyone has the same chance

to me its cheating - some people may not be lucky enough to have someone in the audience to feed the info to them, so unless they announce it to everyone then it shouldnt be allowed.

your right but during the wsop some pros were told what hold cards there oppos had in certain pots

i suppose unless you lock the producers away for the whole duration of the wsop then its always going to happen

Yes, live hole cards on a 30 minute delay on the web, 1st time doing it, they are going to talk about it and get opinions from everyone involved!

This will NOT be done w/ the events that ESPN will be showing!!!!!

There are some major questions about the 30 min delay w/ hole cards!!!

But my thoughts are basically that as long as everyone knows it is going on its ok!!

If someone does get info from a friend at least everyone can get the same info from a friend.

I thought it was fantastic, its like going to poker school with guys playing for big $$$$$$$

I thought it was very entertaining.
