Title: O/T Which film did this line come from? Post by: The Camel on May 08, 2007, 01:29:52 AM This is really annoying me...
A guy is getting beaten up really badly (actually come to think of it... he might have been shot...) and is laying almost dead when he gets to his knees and asks his tormentor "please sir, can I have some more?" I've tried googling it, and I've obviously got the quote slightly wrong. Anyone know which film it came from? Title: Re: O/T Which film did this line come from? Post by: NoflopsHomer on May 08, 2007, 02:19:20 AM Sounds like Oliver Twist as directed by Quentin Tarantino...

There might be a scene like that... but it's not the one I'm thinking of... This movie is pretty violent... I checked all of Taratino's movies after Homer's joke as it seemed very likely it was one of his. But it wasn't :( Title: Re: O/T Which film did this line come from? I can't offer anything further, sorry. The bored at work blondes do love a detective mission though, I'm sure someone will be able to help tomorrow. Title: Re: O/T Which film did this line come from? Post by: The Camel on May 08, 2007, 04:27:58 AM i *think* I've remembered the film...
It's too late to dig the dvd out now, so I won't spoil the detective work and I'll watch the movie when I wake up and see if I'm right... Title: Re: O/T Which film did this line come from? Post by: Sheriff Fatman on May 08, 2007, 10:06:03 AM Might not be the one you want but they use that line in Animal House during the frat house initiation scene (Niedermeyer and co are hitting a new recruit with a paddle and that's his response).
Title: Re: O/T Which film did this line come from? Post by: Mango99 on May 08, 2007, 10:12:00 AM I believe The Krays has a scene where someone is getting their fingers scewered by a sword and is sadistically made to ask for more...

He tells the italian gangster to say "thank you". This is impossible, the situation is unclear and the quote is wrong, FFS there have been a few violent films over the years.............. Post by: Bainn on May 08, 2007, 01:07:00 PM I am thinking Bruce Willis' character from Sin City, being beaten by the "Bent" cops.
Title: Re: O/T Which film did this line come from? Post by: The Camel on May 08, 2007, 01:13:35 PM Damn.
I thought it was Danny De Vito's character in LA Confidential as he was being interrogated by the bent cop... but just watched the scene and it wasn't :( Title: Re: O/T Which film did this line come from? Post by: Nix on May 08, 2007, 01:26:35 PM House of Games, written and directed by David Mamet. It's the Joe Mantegna character as he's being shot by the woman he's conned. Great film.

Great film :) And that has to be where the quote is from too...Title: Re: O/T Which film did this line come from? Post by: AndrewT on May 08, 2007, 01:31:50 PM Yes, House of Games, that's it. A truly great film.
Though you've kind of ruined the ending for someone who hasn't seen it. :) Title: Re: O/T Which film did this line come from? Post by: thetank on May 08, 2007, 01:32:33 PM Ship it to Nix

[/quote] No - can't be this film. "Bingo" is about a runaway circus dog who wears sunglasses. I doubt there were shootings or beatings in that.................. :) Title: Re: O/T Which film did this line come from?
