Title: Diego Corrales dies! Post by: scotty2hatty on May 08, 2007, 09:59:30 AM More nasty news. Corrales died last night in a motorbike accident in Vegas at the age of 29! Always enjoyed watching his fights. RIP.

He came from a knockdown to win the fight? He was knocked down a few times I think, and spat his gumshield out to give him a few more valuable seconds to recover. The whole fight was amazing though. They just stood in front of each other and traded punches. Their second and third fights weren't anywhere near as good. I'd put their first fight up there with Barrera v Morales first fight and the and the Gatti v Ward fights (especially the first). Title: Re: Diego Corrales dies!
