Title: Re: Deep in stars $20 1r 1a with presto Post by: temp0r on May 09, 2007, 01:21:35 AM you've flat called a 3x raise. if you check-raise this he won't give you credit for a 4 and will shove back at you knowing the best you can have is A10 which would have to be a pass. unless your image is tight enough that you could be flat calling with JJ.

Lead out here and thereby tell him you're beating the board. If he comes over the top you can fold this quite easily and have plenty chips left. If you check here you are essentially giving up the pot, he can quite easily lay this down if he doesn't have a genuinely decent hand.
