Title: Re: Celebrities for room 101 Post by: scotty2hatty on May 14, 2007, 07:58:11 PM I HATE CJ!!!!!!
Title: Re: Celebrities for room 101 Post by: Colchester Kev on May 14, 2007, 08:02:33 PM Just seen this on a web search, sums it all up really
I was wondering if anyone else here has had the misfortune to watch the BBC 1 gameshow "Eggheads" The idea is perhaps a good one. They have a team of "challengers" up against a team made up of so-called "eggheads", including that old bird who won Millionaire and a couple of others. One Egghead in particular calls himself "CJ" - I'm unsure what he's actually won, but I challenge anyone here to name a bigger c*** on TV at the moment. I don't quite know what it is - his stupid f***ing snide expressions when the opposing team gets a question wrong, the fact that he has to explain in graphic detail why he's decided upon the answer he's going for - I just don't know. Is it just me? Does anyone really care? Who knows. :D :D :D :D :D :D Title: Re: Celebrities for room 101 Post by: RED-DOG on May 14, 2007, 08:03:40 PM Lee Evans ;grr;

noel edmunds is a legend! lol now if u wanted to put every contestant who has ever appeared on deal or no deal into room 101, then that would be fine. because why is it that every contestant that has ever appeared on that programme is the most annoying, frustrating, dickhead group of people ever Title: Re: Celebrities for room 101 Post by: Sheriff Fatman on May 14, 2007, 09:04:48 PM Celine Dion, preferably handcuffed to Mariah Carey.

He is the sort of guy that if you were running a quiz night he is bound to come up and argue the answers.
But I have to admit he is very good. He has been on two shows that i have been on (Brainteaser and Weakest Link) as well as others. Very knowledgeable and must work hard at it. as for Room 101.. Davina McCall ;tracet; Title: Re: Celebrities for room 101 Post by: lazaroonie on May 14, 2007, 10:05:27 PM Sandi Toksvig from Call my Bluff. Are you serious? horrendous. thinks he's funny..isn't. makes the same film only with different themes and people lap it up. Try harder to be original Will, it is boring. Title: Re: Celebrities for room 101 Post by: lazaroonie on May 14, 2007, 11:31:13 PM You should watch "stranger than fiction" for a different take on will ferrell.

It is still "comedy" in that it will make you laugh, but it aint Talladega Nights. Title: Re: Celebrities for room 101 Post by: bobby1 on May 15, 2007, 12:16:19 AM Tara Palmer Tomkinson been famous for years for what??
Paris Hilton, again famous for doing what?? and just to be obscure Sky Sports news.....a sports channel that only covers sport that they shoew live, its like any other sport doesnt exsist, try getting a snooker score on there during the world championships, no chance, try getting a golf tourney score on there that they dont cover, no chance........it is quite simply an advert for their sports and therefore not a sports channel at all, it is simply an advertisng tool. Now maybe you think Sky sports news should only cover sports that Sky cover but I dont, its either a sports news channel or its not. For instance, today they had a poll, top five midfielders in the Prem this year, which was really just a wiz to show 5 arsenal, man utd ,Liverpool and Chelsea goals like they are the only teams that have midfielders you can vote for. Another greta example......breaking news, Everton release Richard Wright on a free transfer......he hasnt got a contract and is therefore not attached to the club but that makes 'breaking news' coz it is 'their' sport. As for their coverage of the Premier league, they actually give you stats that only began when the premier league started, they even act like football didnt exsist until they got involved. rant over Title: Re: Celebrities for room 101 Post by: turny on May 15, 2007, 12:18:26 AM Russel Brand. I don't always agree with his methods - Chris Morris described him as "the man who bullies receptionists" - but an evening with him is hardly room 101 material. Mark Steel, however...
Oh go on then, I'll join in. I nominate the oxy-morons: Jade Goody Myleen Klaas Dennis Wise Title: Re: Celebrities for room 101 Post by: Indestructable on May 15, 2007, 06:01:09 PM Title: Re: Celebrities for room 101 Post by: Sark79 on May 15, 2007, 06:25:14 PM Gordon Ramsey. He is rude, a bully and so arrogant. So what, he can cook a meal... big deal . I really can't see why people like him, Alan Sugar and that irritating guy off the singing talent show ...Simon Cowan? or what ever his name is. Put any of them on a building site, garage, landscaping, plumbing, etc, etc, etc and they would not have a clue what they were doing either. I hate these idiotic shows that make the contestants look stupid. It is so sad that we need to be entertained by watching someone else getting embarrassed . Anne Robinson is another moron . I can't stand bullies

He confronts people who perhaps are used to being/pretending to be the top dogs and he puts them in thier place, he gives people with low self esteem courage to stand up for themselves as believe it or not Gordon suffered from low self esteem and the stuff he put up with and had to got through with his father as a young boy would have broken most but he plucked up the courage to make changes and look where he is now, worth around 60 million quid! Have so much respect for him as a person, he really is one of my role mdels in life! Title: Re: Celebrities for room 101 Post by: seven2unsuited on May 16, 2007, 12:32:28 AM Gordon Ramsey. Have so much respect for him as a person, he really is one of my role mdels in life! I agree. Remember he was set for a football career at the top ( well rangers lol) but suffered a knee injury that curtailed his career at a young age. How many footballers could turn something like this round, enter an entirely different profession and become one of the best in the world at it? Most of them would go off the rails and have more asbos than south acton estate. Yes he swears a lot and is aggressive with his staff and now milks his image for all its worth with the media but for me he is someone who has turned adversity into success and as such is a very good role model. Celebrities who should be binned into room 101. Chris Moyles - I assume he aims to be the "humourous voice of the common man down the pub." The sad thing is if you plucked a random drunk from any pub, he would inevitably be funnier and more coherent than Moyles. Colchester Kev's about a million times funnier than chris moyles and I vote should replace him immediately. Dennis Norden - purely for the fact that he carries a redundant clipboard around with him. All football pundits bar a select few. 2 for nomination. Robbie Earle - Master of stating the obvious with zero penetrating insight. "The ball was passed in and henry did what he usually does and scored" Thanks Robbie for another remarkable piece of analysis. Lee Dixon I was almost counting down the days till the end of his career so I never had to hear another post-match interview delivered in his trademark comotose-inducing midlands monotone. Then they made him a pundit. GRRR! I will be rescuing Harry Hill and Cheryl Cole from the room. TV BURP is a bit inconsistent but generally Harry's very good at gently mocking people on tv. Funny guy, too good for room 101. Cheryl - on hearing the gorgeous geordie fox was getting married, like millions of others, my heart sank. Then I realised she had pulled a masterstroke by marrying a premiership footballer, thus increasing her media profile, but one who, allegedly, bats for the other side, thereby leaving herself (theoretically) still available to the salivating masses. Clever! |
