Title: University poker- national tourneys
Post by: jtenrivers on May 16, 2007, 11:27:52 PM
Hello,

New to this site, not so new to poker (been playing a little over two years)

Am currently at University, was on betfair forums and when asking about nationwide university tournaments and if they exist, that Dave Colcloughs been involved in one before and to post on here.

Any help will be greatly appreciated, we have quite a high standard in our current Poker society.

Cheers,

Adam

I know that the Oxford Cup brings together students from around the country - 200 runners now yearly; the occasional Dave Colclough etc. also turn up...  For information, there's the University Poker League, or contact the Oxford Poker Society...  Next one scheduled for first half of June.

The big one - the UK Student Championships was in St. Andrews in April past and is an annual event.  400 runners this year.
